OverviewExplore the glittering waters and numerous volcanic islands of Indonesia on the enchanting tall ship, Star Clipper. Combine the romance of traditional sailing, the feeling of a private yacht with all the on-board luxuries you would hope for. Set sail from the island of Bali around the eastern islands of Indonesia exploring traditional villages, hidden beaches, and Komodo National Park. The Island of Komodo is home to Indonesia’s most famous residents, the pre-historic looking Komodo Dragons.

ItineraryDay 1-4 BaliFly overnight from London to Bali. Private transfer to 5-star hotel. Enjoy a Bali Monkey Forest, Mengwi Temple & Tanah Lot Tour.Day 5 Star ClipperPrivate transfer to Benoa port. Embark Star Clipper & depart.Day 6 Gili Kondo (Lombok)Gili Kondo is an uninhabited island which is part of thirty three small islands in Eastern Lombok. The word Gili simply means “small island” in the Sasak language. Enjoy snorkelling directly from the beach, the waters are very calm and there are plenty of multi-coloured fish. Afterwards you can relax on the white sand and soak up some rays, or take a long beachcombing stroll.Day 7 At seaDay 8 Komodo IslandKomodo National Park AM Pink Beach, Komodo Island PM. Komodo National Park was founded in 1980 with the aim of preserving the unique Komodo dragon and its habitat. Komodo Island is the bleak and desolate domain of this highly aggressive reptile that looks like a relic from

the age when dinosaurs walked the earth. The species is notoriously fierce and the “dragon” moniker is well deserved. The Komodo dragon which belongs to a once widespread order of monitor lizards now survives only on a handful of islands. Pink beach, or Pantai Merah, is one of only seven such beaches on the whole planet. The amazing colour comes from microscopic animals called Foraminifera which leave a red pigment on the coral reefs and the name Pantai Merah literally means red beach. Pink beach is bounded by turquoise blue sea and offers spectacular views of the surrounding area, including small islands, hills and mountains. It is said to be the best spot for snorkelling in Komodo National Park.Day 9 Satonda IslandSatonda is a tiny uninhabited island formed millions of years ago by an eruption which rocked the sea bed at 1000m and projected volcanic rock upwards to a height of 289 metres above sea level. The local people believe that the island is sacred and you can see offerings in the form of bits of coral hanging in the trees; these have been put there by pilgrims who visit the island in the hope of having their wishes granted. Satonda is surrounded by beautiful coral reefs with a large variety of tropical fish; to protect this unique underwater paradise the island was declared to be a Marine Nature Park in 1999.

Day 10 Gili Trawangan, Gili IslandsGili Meno. Gili Trawangan, universally known as “Gili T”, is the most cosmopolitan and popular island. During the day you can explore the island on foot, snorkel, sunbathe, join a dive trip, rent a bike or take a horse carriage ride. These activities are offered by local companies directly at the disembarkation pontoon.Day 11 Gili Nanggu, Gili IslandsGili Nanggu is on the southwest coast of Lombok and is still relatively undeveloped, offering a pristine natural region for travellers to explore. The only noise that breaks the serene silence is the singing and twittering of the birds. The beaches are powder white sand and the water crystal clear and teaming with thousands of tropical fish making it an ideal destination for snorkeling If you’re lucky you may even spot some sea turtles.Day 12 BenoaPrivate transfer to the airport for return overnight flight to London.

Private transfer to the port. Embark Nieuw Statendam, depart Rome.Day 4 At seaDay 5 Cartagena (Spain)While Cartagena is famously home to the second-largest Roman amphitheater on the Iberian Peninsula, the city is much more than just spectacular ancient ruins. Cartagena’s architecture—along with that amphitheater, there are striking Art Nouveau buildings, neoclassical churches and ultramodern edifices throughout the city—you’ll find many opportunities to shop for local and regional artisan wares. Day 6 GibraltarMost famous for the giant Jurassic limestone rock soaring above the territory’s main commercial and residential areas. Venture into Gibraltar’s densely populated streets for Spanish, British, Middle Eastern and Italian cuisine, as well as tax-free shopping on everything from luxury brands to handmade arts and crafts and artisanal edibles.

Day 7 CadizHanging off the southwestern edge of Spain, Cádiz is one of Andalucía’s regional capitals and a place bursting with personality. This ancient city has one good example of everything that matters: a great food market, a theater (the Teatro Falla, a grand Art Nouveau Moorish gem), a gorgeous cathedral, impressive fortifications and a beach—the picturesque and famous La Caleta.Day 8 At seaDay 9 BarcelonaBarcelona is a vibrant port city, packed with centuries of iconic art and architecture — Gaudí and Picasso both called it home — and lined with sunny white-sand beaches. Day 11 Monte CarloSitting on the coast like a precious gemstone, Monte Carlo and Monaco still draw an international jet-set crowd. The Palace commands from Monaco-ville, called Le Rocher by locals, and high-rises make the most of precious land with public elevators in lieu of sidewalks in this steep country. Superyachts fill the port, ultraluxury cars dominate the road and outrageous jewels sparkle under the night sky in an eternal promise that in some places, fairy tales really do come true.Day 12 LivornoThe Renaissance-era port city of Livorno, Italy, gateway to Pisa, Florence and the rest of the attractions of Tuscany, is characterized by its solid 16th-century Fortezza and the charming canal network known as Venezia Nuova. Discover Your WorldAngkor WatA visit to Cambodia’s World Heritage Temples of Angkor complex is understandably high on the list for many travellers. Built by Suryavarman II (r 1112–52) – is the earthly representation of Mt Meru, the Mt Olympus of the Hindu faith and the abode of ancient gods. The Cambodian god-kings of old each strove to better their ancestors’ structures in size, scale and symmetry, culminating in what is believed to be the world’s largest religious building. The temple is the heart and soul of Cambodia and a source of fierce national pride. Unlike the other Angkor monuments, it was never abandoned to the elements and has been in virtually continuous use since it was built. The sandstone blocks from which Angkor Wat was built were quarried from the holy mountain of Phnom Kulen, more than 50km away, and floated down the Siem Reap River on rafts. The logistics of such an operation are mind blowing, consuming the labour of thousands. According to inscriptions, the construction of Angkor Wat involved 300,000 workers and 6000 elephants, yet it was still not fully completed.

Delightful Dalmatia & Grecian Odyssey | Seabourn Odyssey Jun - Aug 201911Nights

OverviewSpend 2 days in the floating city of Venice where roads are replaced by canals and hidden piazzas framed by Renaissance and Gothic palaces. Embark on your luxury voyage aboard Seabourn Odyssey and discover the dramatic Dalmatian coastline and fortified Montenegrin town of Kotor. Your journey continues exploring the beautiful Greek islands of Corfu & Cephalonia where white washed villages cling to rugged cliffs and the fragrance of olive & lemon groves assault your senses before you arrive in the Greek capital Athens. Home to one of the world’s most renowned civilisations and full of rich history which is still evident today as the majestic Acropolis still stands watch over this buzzing city.

ItineraryDay 1-2 VeniceFly from London to Venice. Private transfer to 5-star hotel. Spend a day at leisure exploring the sights of Venice.Day 3 Seabourn odysseyPrivate transfer to the port, embark Seabourn Odyssey and depart.Day 4 VodiceVodice is a popular seaside town on the Dalmatian coast of the Adriatic Sea. There are several popular pebble and sand beaches around Vodice. From Vodice it is also easy to access the seaside town of Sibenik, the waterfalls and pools of Krka National Park and the offshore islands of the Kornati National Park.Day 5 KotorOne of the best preserved medieval towns of the Adriatic, Kotor is protected by UNESCO. Between 1420 and 1797, the area was under the rule of the Republic of Venice and the Venetian influence can be seen in its architecture.Day 6 CorfuRolling acres of olive groves, small orchards of lemon and orange trees, tall cypress, oleander, and myrtle bushes lend a lush, verdant look to the island. While the oldest part of Corfu Town has cobblestone lanes so narrow only

pedestrian travel is possible, the modern sector has wide avenues.Day 7 CephaloniaLocated on the east coast of Cephalonia, Sami does give access to Antisamos beach, the picturesque site used in the filming of the Hollywood movie Captain Corelli’s Mandolin. It is a star-quality strand, and ready for its close-up. The town has pleasant cafés and tavernas around the harbour. Situated on a hill to the south of town are the ruins of ancient Sami, where visitors will find a fascinating site consisting of artifacts spanning several different civilisations over thousands of years.Day 8 GythionGythion, the small port town for Sparta, edges its way up the hillside, which surrounds the harbour. According to Homer, Paris and Helen spent their first night together here, on a tiny islet in the bay. To commemorate the occasion, Paris erected a shrine to Aphrodite, goddess of love, only to have it torn down by the vengeful Menelaus after he recaptured Helen. In its place Menelaus erected statues honoring Praxidica (Punishment) and Themis (Justice). Not far away, at the tip of the Peloponnese, lies the Mani, a distinctive area unlike anything else in Greece.Day 9 NafplioHeld to be one of the loveliest small towns in all the islands, Nafplio has a tradition and culture of its own.
