In 2008, Nocum and his family set up the

first Kristiyano-Islam Peace Library in

Brgy. Manicahan, Zamboanga City.

This came after the realization that

books must come with an effective

program that will promote literacy and

learning for children and youth.

The small initiative was able to amass a

wide variety of children’s books and

computers free for children’s use, and

establish regular tutorial activities

INCLUSIVITY PRINCIPLE

▪ Each individual / sector / group / community has its own unique set of needs. There might be similarities but they are not totally the same.

▪ We must always consult our stakeholders when crafting new programs and services.

▪ Being inclusive means to allow the stakeholders themselves be the drivers of change.
