OVERVIEWFor general dentists, endodontics often can be difficult and frustrating. Incorporating technology into daily practice will provide the tools and confidence required to take on more challenging cases. This evidence-based, hands-on course will focus on essential technologies that are critical for the successful treatment of numerous endodontic scenarios.

This two-day course includes lectures, live demonstrations and a hands-on component, all designed to educate and train general dentists how to perform endodontic procedures with greater precision and ease. Course experts will teach safe, efficient and predictably successful endodontic techniques that may be implemented immediately into practice.

The Friday morning session includes lectures that will explore access opening, cleaning and shaping concepts and the importance of glide path management. The role of irrigants in disinfecting the root canal system and choice of irrigants will be discussed, in addition to other clinical procedures. On Friday afternoon, participants will observe a live demonstration of Dr. Cunha performing a root canal on a patient that will be broadcast from the dental clinic. Participants will have the opportunity to observe and ask questions during the procedure.

During the Saturday session experts will provide over-the-shoulder coaching in simulation exercises. The hands-on experience is designed to reinforce information provided during the lectures and live demonstration on Friday. This segment of the program will help course registrants further hone their technical skills to achieve optimal endodontic outcomes. The 1:4 instructor-to-participant ratio provides the opportunity for enhanced over-the-shoulder coaching.

This mini-residency will provide the learning platform to make endodontic procedures easier for the general practitioner, in addition to increasing clinical efficiencies, improving patient outcomes and maximizing return on investment.

Attendance at Saturday’s hands-on session is limited to 12 participants.

This program is for: General practitioner dentists
