Plantation Around School

Dirty slush & a few plants in the way of the school as well as in the village…..!!!!!

We feel that there is a great need to change the mindsets of the community for safe & healthy environment.

Removing & disposing waste at proper place, plantation in the school & cleanliness of muddy road from village to

school were our chief motive.

We prepared banners quoting slogans of environmental health & importance of plants, role

play & arrange necessary tools for cleaning & saplings for plantation.

We started a rally from our school to village. After rally in all streets of Surani village, we reach at Govt. Sec. School, where class V students do a role play on environmental health. We observe immediate Effect of role play on Govt. students & teachers. Hence, the Principal of the School send 20 students with us to clean the way & plant the saplings. They promise us to maintain the same.

With the help of shovel our students formed an effective work group and started cleaning the way in association with govt. students. All the students work with great energy & motivation. Even that day was very hot.

We planted saplings in village & in school. Students took responsibilities of these saplings to take their care till they will not stand on their own.

Plantation in school by teachers & students………….

We prepare volunteers from govt. school with our SBS students who took responsibility of cleanliness around the village & they will took care of plants till they will not stand their own. Media appreciated the efforts of our students (News cutting is attached). Follow-up plan of next three months will be implemented from November onwards.
