Dear business partners, 2016 was a challenging year for businesses across many branches in the region in general and in KSA in particular. The outlook for 2017/2018 range from modest growth to slight shrinkage of market size, with a rather pessimistic expectation of the building materials sector.
However, we believe there is a great opportunity in it. Economic pressure is a very effective driver for change and increasing cost of labor, fuel, electricity, water etc. shall accelerate the acceptance of dry wall partitions in all market segments.
As new techniques usually enter the market from the top, architects and consultants for premium hotels and public buildings were the first to specify dry wall systems and asking for system guarantees followed by projects in the commercial market. However, the penetration of dry wall construction in GCC markets and specifically in KSA is far below US or European levels.
What ambitions do we have?• We are already the biggest manufacturer of gypsum plasterboard in the GCC with > 40 Mm2 output per
year. We want to further extend that position but at the same act as a catalyst to convert the market from pure commodity selling to solutions and system oriented sales and become the preferred system supplier for dry wall partition and suspended ceilings in the Middle East.
• We want to take the lead in developing KSA to reach US/European level of per capita consumption of Plasterboard from current 1.3 in KSA to 5-7m2 within the next 10 years!
How we want to do it?• Only the fittest survive and we want to be the fittest– our factory set up is based on German /
Canadian machinery and we have a team of Western experts to run operations based on World Class Manufacturing Best Practice Methodology.
• We developed Mada Plus Systems within the last 2 years and build a team of qualified specification engineers.
• We commissioned our own Metal Profile production using state of the art, high speed, European machinery from April 2017. We have collaborated with leading European metal profile manufacturer, PROTEKTOR, to bring to market high quality product and expertise.
• To serve our clients with our extensive sales network in KSA and other GCC countries, supported with two big warehouses in Dammam and Riyadh.
• We will offer trainings for applicators in our new dry wall academy in Riyadh from June 2017
Once again, we are aware of the challenges of the economic frame conditions but we want to focus on the opportunities rather than complaining about the obstacles and with your support we shall be able to deliver our contribution to an expected success story of light weight construction in the Middle East.
Looking forward to a fruitful cooperation and a shared success

ABOUT MGC
Our Quarry
MGC owns and Operates its own gypsum quarry. Based on a complete geological study, MGC set up a mining plan that helps identify the areas to be excavated. Once excavated, a Moisture Analyzer device in the quarry checks the quality of the gypsum, which is sent to the factory once it is approved. Once in the factory, the gypsum undergoes more tests, before and after the crushers. All of these processes guarantee that only the highest quality raw materials, which reach up to 98% purity, and 95% whiteness, are used in the manufacturing of our products.
Plaster production and raw materials
MGC uses Grelbex and Claudius-Peters calcinations with a production capacity of 400,000 tons to ensure the best quality of raw materials for plasterboards and ready-mixes as well as finished product plasters.
Plasterboard Production:
MGC uses two Gyptech lines with installed production capacity of 42 Mm2/yr square meters annually. The advanced technology in the production lines enables us to offer a wide spectrum of plasterboard types, thicknesses, widths, and lengths to meet all customer requirements. The plasterboards are produced according to ASTM c1396 & EN 520 standards.
Procem Production
MGC is the first producer of light aggregate non-fiber cement board using Gyptech lines with installed capacity of 2 Mm2/yr square meters annually with a variety of thicknesses and lengths. The finished boards are then cured to optimize the hydration of the binder maximizing the strength to match the highest quality. The cement boards are produced according to ASTM c1325 & EN 12467 standards.
ABOUT MGC

Product Description
Mada Resilient Channel is designed to improve the sound insulation of plasterboard walls. The profile assists in isolating the plasterboard from the supporting surface hence reducing the area of contact and dissipating the level of sound transferring through the metal section.
Field of Application
Applicable for Drywall Partition system, Liner system, Shaft system and other such applications.
Manufacturing Standards
Mada Metal Profile comply to ASTM C645, ASTM A653, ASTM A641, ASTM C955 and ASTM A1003
