Outlook for Indian Maize Industry

• India, a prominent player in world maize market. In the year 2012-13, export of maize reached a record 5 million tonnes, which was 24% higher compared to the previous year. To create required impact in Indian Maize crop, dissemination of technologies is utilized across the entire value chain.

• As the market demand for maize increasing in India, it becomes logical to invest more time in identifying, examining and suggesting reforms in key areas of Maize value chain
