For students who may access the above site from outside IITB campus, necessary instructions for onlinefee payment will be available on ASC and Academic homepage.

Students paying fees online must ensure that transaction is completed in all respect. If no payment is credited toInstitute account before the due date (i.e. 11th July, 2017), late fine @ Rs.100/- per day will be levied for thedelayed period. Late payment of fees can also be paid ONLINE or at CASH SECTION.

It may please be noted that Cash Section accepts the fees only from the following

(i) Foreign /External students(ii) Students with bank loans

(iii) Sponsored Fellowship Awardee (where the scholarship amount is received through a cheque or draft in the name of “The Registrar, IIT Bombay” from Private/Government agencies.)

Instruction for Non-concessional Fees Group students [Not applicable to FRN students]

1) All non-concessional fees group students who are enlisted above under Group – II may note that there is aprovision to earn concession in fees if they opt to do TA work for courses, laboratory or any otherrelated academic / administrative work as assigned by the Head of the academic unit to the extent of 8hours per week. Such students need to make formal application in the prescribed form - `Form A’latest by 30-07-2017. On receipt of completed form of Interest `Form A’, the Academic Office willrefund the difference amount of concessional tuition fees as applicable to the Masters/Ph.D. programmestudents accordingly.

2) All such students must also note that they are required to perform academic / administrative responsibilityto the satisfaction of the supervising faculty members(s) as assigned to them from the concerned Head /Convener of the Dept. / Center / School / IDPs, failing which they will have to forgo the concessionearned in the tuition fees and they have to pay the non-concessional fees (i.e. tuition Fee Rs. 25000/-) inthe subsequent semester. These students are required to submit `Form B’ - certificate of completion ofAcademic / administrative responsibility by 16-12-2017.

3) The Form “A” and “B” are available on IITB website : <http://www.iitb.ac.in/academic/downloadForm/>Research Scholars who are likely to submit their Ph.D. thesis on or before 12 th July 2017 neednot pay fees for Spring Semester 2017-18. Further, the Research Scholars who are completingsix or more years from the date of their registration must seek prior permission from PGAPEC for

the continuation of their registration before making payment of fees.

It may please be noted that if a student fails to pay the fees and / or register himself / herself forAutumn Semester 2017-18 on or before the 24th July 2017 (i.e. last date for late registration),his / her registration is liable for cancellation.

Post-Graduate students who have been allotted family accommodation or accommodation atTulsi / QIP quarters are required to pay license fees as applicable to their allotted quarters, inaddition to semester fees. Fee structure is available on the Institute websitehttp:// www.iitb.ac.in /academic/circular.jsp.
