• Class room lectures backed up by simulator or on the job or both as per training demand

• Capacity of more than 6000 Man days of training

• Simulator for 600 MW,210 MW ,550 MW CCGT and 250 MW thermal plants.

CEA Recognition

We are soon going to be recognized by CEA (Central Electricity Authority)

under Ministry Of Power (MoP) as a Power Training Institute.

This will bring IPMA at par with training institutes owned and operated by major

power companies in India such as NTPC, Tata Power, Adani Infra and Jindal

Power.

This recognition will further facilitate IPMA to achieve our objective of capacity

building and thus serving Power Sector needs for the well trained and skilled

technical personnel to operate & manage power plants more efficiently, reliably

and safely.

•APROS-Process Simulation Software, was jointly developed by Technical Research Centre (VTT) and Fortum Engineering in Finland.

•APROS is successfully used in training simulator projects worldwide to model plant processes and automation.

APROS – Process Simulation Software

IPMA Development Centre is equipped to take up development of customer specific simulators and plant

models. Apros is capable of even modeling

supercritical plants. With Apros it is easy to make a

comprehensive model to include

Fuel

Flue gas

Water and steam lines

Automation

Electrical systems

IPMA Engineers were trained on Apros and

simulation process in Finland.
