Indiana Music Educators Association is pleased to support the 2011 Indiana Junior All-State Band performance at our 2011 IMEA State Convention. While it is an honor for your child, your school, and your community to be chosen as a part of these groups, it is also an honor for IMEA to provide this opportunity for talented students and professionals at the top of their fields to work together in music-making.

IMEA's mission Is as follows: To support and advance music education in Indiana by representing the united Interests of music educators and students and by prOViding professional leadership and service in music education to enhance the arts in the schools; To function as the federated state unit of the Music Educators National Conference.

IMEA continues to be proactive in support of music education at the state level, in your community, and in your school. We invite you to network with us in this support-to encourage those schools, administrators, and music educators who have strong and developing programs in their schools; to assist those who are struggling and seeking help in strengthening their programs; and to support those facing cutbacks.

We urge you to ./bin us in this effortl You are a vital link in this process. Parents, friends, and taxpayers are powerful allies in local communities and have a role that no one else can play.

Experiencing concerts /ike loday's is a heritage that tomorrow's students should have. Did you child have a wonderful all-state experience? Would you like to help other children have a similar experience? You can contribute to the IMEA All-State Scholarship Fund, cia IMEA Executive Office, 100 East Thompson Road, Indianapolis, IN 46227. Your donation will help students who are otherwise financially unable to participate in all-state groups have the same experience as your child. Thank you.
