#ome learn something new, share your knowledge & skills, or just relax surrounded by the peace & beauty of the woods at Kirkmont Center. Share a campfire with other folks who are passionate about the outdoors, bushcraft, survival, and primitive living.

We will be discussing, demonstrating, and practicing a variety of bushcraft related skills. Actual topics covered will depend on the interests of the participants. Possibilities include: tinder, fire lays, fire starting by various methods, building natural shelters, making natural cordage, knot tying, basic navigation, basic first aid, trapping, wood carving, foraging, camp cooking, and other skills. All group activities are optional.

We hope to see you around our campfire!!

• Camp Fees are $25.00 per camp site, and can be paid upon arrival.

• Primitive camping conditions: tents, tarps, and hammocks welcome!

• Restroom facilities will be available.

• Food will not be provided, so come prepared.

• Firewood - gathering wood that is already dead and downed will be permitted. No felling of trees or widow makers.

• Open fires will be permitted only in dug pits. They must be refilled, with sod replaced, before departing. If you have a fire at your campsite, a fire bucket is mandatory.
