Ashok Leyland launches AVTR 4120: India’s first 4-axle truck with 40.5 ton GVW

Ashok Leyland has launched the AVTR 4120, India’s first 4-axle 8×2 DTLA truck(14-wheeler) which has a capacity of 40.5 tonne Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).This new truck offers an additional 5 ton payload compared to standard 8×2trucks and hence delivers better TCO.

Vipin Sondhi, Managing Director, Ashok Leyland, said: “Ashok Leyland hasalways been ahead of the curve and leads the CV industry in terms ofinnovation. Our endeavour has always been to address the needs of ourcustomers and deliver better profitability for them and AVTR 4120 is one steptowards this offering the customer flexibility.”

Explaining about the new AVTR 4120, Anuj Kathuria, COO, Ashok Leyland, said:“This new product will operate at 40.5 ton with the lift axle down and at 28 tonwith the lift axle up during light load/partial load/return empty. This also offersthe customer flexibility to operate at a large band of GVW from 28T to 40.5Twith best-in-class Total Cost of Operation (TCO) benefits."

"The AVTR 4120 is fitted with 12.5-tonne dual tyre lift axle (DTLA) with patentedparallelogram technology – which ensures better tyre life. AVTR 4120 ispowered by a 200 HP engine with iGen6 technology offering superior power,performance and fluid efficiency", he added.

VerdeMobility benchmarks 200+ unit production of Type 2 AC Dual Gun EV Chargers

Despite a challenging market environment, VerdeMobility, abusiness division of System Level Solutions Pvt. Ltd and part ofthe Open Charge Alliance, has announced the roll-out of 200+units of Type 2 AC dual output chargers from its productionfacility in Anand, Gujarat across 125 districts in India.

The charger has been a huge hit being the only dual output ACtype 2 charger in India market with output capacity ranging from7.4kW to 22kW simultaneously on both outputs.
