Page 6: Indistar

So Lines Get Messy

Page 7: Indistar

It’s Sort of Like the Old Days ofFamily Vacation…

(When You Got Lost)

Page 8: Indistar

You Knew Where You Wanted to Go

But You Weren’t Quite Sure How to Get There (although everybody had an idea)

Page 9: Indistar
Page 10: Indistar

Look Familiar?

Page 14: Indistar

A Global Positioning System (GPS)

Shows where you are relative to your destination

Provides detailed routes for reaching it

Adjusts to variations and even accommodates diversions along the way

But the destination remains constant.

Page 15: Indistar

Family Vacations Have Never Been More Relaxing

(For the Most Part)

Indistar Provides a Structure for Improving Performance

(With Plenty of “How” Flexibility)

Page 23: Indistar

The Structure is Built Using Success Indicators

The Research and Evidence of What Works in School Improvement

Page 24: Indistar

We’ve Collected, Analyzed, and Organized the Research So that Your Time Can Be Spent Applying It

(And Indistar Guides You Through Application, Too)

Page 25: Indistar

Before We Go Any FurtherVocabulary Lesson Number One (Because without a shared vocabulary, not even technology can help)

Page 29: Indistar

Page 30: Indistar

So Where Is It Guiding Us? What is the Destination, Exactly?

The Specifics Will Vary According to the Individual Needs and Circumstances of Each State, Each District, and Each School

Page 31: Indistar

But Results Won’t Improve Unless Performance Improves

Page 33: Indistar
Page 34: Indistar
