GR No. 54/2012 on Safety and Security of Nuclear Installation:
• Article 66: Nuclear emergency preparedness is conducted based on nuclear emergency
preparedness programme
are implemented by:
• establishing nuclear emergency preparedness programme at facility level
• establishing nuclear emergency preparedness programme at province level, called
Contingency Plan for nuclear emergency and has been established:
– 2013 : Tangerang Selatan
– 2014 : Bandung
– 2015 : Yogyakarta
• Article 69, 71, 73: exercises or drills on nuclear emergency:
– on facility level, at least once every year
– on local government level, at least once every 2 years - in coordination
with the operator
– on national level, at least once every 4 years - in coordination with
BAPETEN and relating national agencies, involving the local government,
and the operator.

The Indonesia government ensure that personnel relevant for emergency
