PT. Pembangkit Energi Mandiri (PEM) is an Indonesian Company that focuses on the provision of energy, primarily from Natural Gas sources. Since the start of its operations in January 2015, PEM has collaborated with various Energy companies, Indonesian and Foreign, in Gas-fueled Power Plant building projects across the country. • Exploration of a Gas well in South Benggara, East Kalimantan Province. This Gas source has a proven reserve of 56 BCF. An LNG Plant will be built on this site and LNG will be distributed to remote areas in Sulawesi island.

• Exploration of a Gas well in Meruap, Jambi Province. This process is still at the certification stage, where the Gas supply in that well is estimated at 96 BCF.

The Team PT. PEM’s team of Professionals is led by Mr. Bernardino Vega, a well-known figure in Indonesian Energy business circles, with 20 years-plus experience in the field. Mr. Vega’s involvement in the Energy field stretches all the way back to PT. Humpuss, one of Indonesia’s big players in the 1990s. Tony Wenas currently serves as President Director of PT Freeport Indonesia, one of the largest Copper & Gold mine in the world. Prior to this from 2015 - 2017, he served as the President Director of PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP), and Managing Director of APRIL Indonesia, of which he was also the President Commissioner in 2011–2012; RAPP/APRIL is one of the largest Pulp & Paper producer in the world. Mr. Wenas has held several top executive positions in major mining companies, including CEO of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, President of PT Berkat Resources Indonesia and Country Head of Intrepid Mines Ltd.
