Inducible nitrite oxide synthase ( iNOS )

one of three NOS isoforms ( eNOS:endothlial cells; nNOS: neuronal cells.)

Tissue expression:

macrophages,cardiac myocytes,glial cells,vascular smooth muscle cells,

endothelium , neurones.

Inducer:

bacterial compounds ( LPS ) ,cytokines ( TNF-α,IL-1β,IFN-γ)
