One-Stop SolutionThe Industrial Plant & Engineering Division has 35 years of extensive experience in industrial plant projects. It provides sophisticated engineering capabilities for power plants and process plants and carries out, on a turnkey basis, all phases of project implementation including engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, operation and training.

The Industrial Plant & Engineering Division’s core business activities comprise the EPC of thermal, co-generation, combined cycle power plants as well as the supply of industrial boiler, circulating fluidized bed combustion (CFBC) boiler, heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), process plants and process equipments.

The division is an accredited EPC contractor for industrial plant projects and efficiently provides trustworthy products and service.

Offshore & Engineering

The Offshore & Engineering Division of HHI has grown to be a general EPCI contractor that provides fully integrated services such as Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation (EPCI), and project management.

The Offshore & Engineering Division has completed more than 170 projects that include 100 EPCI projects for the oil and gas industry. The range of services covers FPSOs, FPUs, Semi-Submersibles, Jack-ups, TLP, Fixed Platforms, Subsea Pipelines, Marine Terminals, and Land-based Process Facilities.

Shipbuilding

Hyundai’s shipyards have continuously developed since their founding in 1972 and are now placed firmly at the forefront of the global shipbuilding industry. Hyundai owes its rapid growth and success to its skilled workmanship, advanced facilities, and heavy involvement in technology development. Engine & Machinery

The Engine & Machinery Division of Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI-EMD) has earned a strong reputation since 1978 for marine engines. HHI-EMD has captured 35% of the global marine diesel engine market. International customers recognize the high quality of Hyundai engines. HHI-EMD has also become a leader in diesel power generation. Numerous domestic and overseas diesel power plants have shown superb performance that have contributed to hyundai’s world-class reputation. Electro Electric System

HHI’s first goal as a reliable and experienced company in the field of electrical equipment for power transmission and distribution is to provide total and continuous client based solutions. For three decades HHI’s Electro Electric Systems Division has been engaged in designing, engineering, manufacturing, and supplying electrical products such as transformers, gas insulated switchgear, switchgear, low & medium voltage circuit breakers, motors, generators, power electronics, instrumentation, and control systems in compliance with international standards and customer requirements.

Green Energy

The Green Energy Division provides services in the fields of solar energy, wind power, and tidal power generation, all of which will be intensely promoted as future growth engines for Hyundai Heavy Industries. The Division makes every effort to contribute to the sustainable prosperity of mankind by providing solutions to global environmental issues, specifically through research and development into improving the commercial benefits of green energy. The Division endeavors to achieve steady growth in order to position itself as a leader in the green energy market, thereby supplying much of the clean energy needed to pass on a greener planet Earth to future generations.

Construction Equipment

The Construction Equipment Division of Hyundai Heavy Industries is widely recognized as an industry leader for its use of advanced ergonomic engineering and technology. Backed by highly advanced factory automation, a zero-tolerance quality control inspection system, and innovative engineering, the Construction Equipment Division offers a wide range of construction equipment to satisfy the demands of customers. The Construction Equipment Division started production in 1985, and now manufactures more than 96 models of heavy equipment including hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, industrial lift trucks, as well as skid steer loaders.

We have advanced technical knowledge and decades of experience in the turnkey construction of thermal power plants and co-generation plants. This has allowed us to become a reliable turnkey contractor for combined-cycle power plant, as well.

Co-generation Facility simultaneously produces of electricity and process steam from single source of fuel. By its very nature, this system considerably reduces overall fuel consumption and therefore has been selected for various applications such as petrochemical process plant, refinery plant and district heating, etc. HHI has constructed 23 co-generation plants domestically and internationally.
