Description: Techcon Systems TS5000 Rotary Valve uses a rotary feed screw (auger) to dispense fluid with a positive displacement action, allowing for ultra-precise control of the dispensing process. The unique design ensures that material is constantly present at the feed screw inlet, while the controlled rotation of the feed screw moves the material from the feed to the discharge point. Discrete control of the forward and reverse rotations of the feed screw controls the amount of material discharged. The TS5000 is offered in a wide variety of configurations, suitable for the most demanding applications. The 3-watt motor is available in 3 different speeds, and the 6-watt version is available with an encoder (servo-motor). With feed screws available in various pitches (8, 16 & 32) and materials (chrome-plated stainless steel, carbide), configuration is based on the specific users application. The TS5000 is capable of depositing shots down to 0.0010 in diameter at rates of 5 or more per second, as well as continuous beads in widths ranging from 0.010 to 0.050 at rates up to 4 per second.
