The industrial roofing and the industrial buildings made of galvanized steel are alwaysdesigned, engineered and manufactured by GIESSE completely according to the customer needs, and always with the highest standards of quality and safety. They are supplied with sliding or fixed sides, and retractable or folding doors.

‐ Solid structure made of full core metallic profiles (certificated steel Fe 430), which is designed by our engineers according to the values of wind load and snow load of the installation site always respecting the local regulations regarding construction.

‐ Surface treatment by hot‐dip galvanizing, according to the UNI EN ISO 1461 (see next page for details).

‐ Completely bolted structure for easy transport, installation and reuse or move on another site.

‐ Nuts and bolts class 8.8, galvanized and certified according to UNI. Central and lateral gutters and roof ridges made of galvanized and pre‐painted steel, thickness 8/10, fastened with rivets and sealants resistant to high temperatures. Downspout in appropriate number in PVC or metal.

‐ Covering with panels, thickness and color of your choice (see datasheet at the following pages).

‐ Frontispieces and blanks profiles to complete the roof sealing, to prevent the deterioration of the insulating element in the covering panels.

‐ Feasibility study, design and certification of the structure and foundation works made by Giesse internal engineering study.

‐ Installation performed by our qualified staff, with suitable lifting equipment, in order to ensure the quality of constructions and safety of the people present in the construction site.

‐ After assembly will be released: calculation report of the structure prepared by our qualified engineers, certifications of materials, hot‐dip galvanizing and nuts and bolts used.

‐ Perimeter upstand (bardage) with height to define, in corrugated galvanized iron or panels of thickness, type and color of your choice.‐ Skylights on the coverage made in corrugated polycarbonate, thickness 10 mm, with heat welding and rubber pads for perfect sealing.‐ Perimeter walls in corrugated galvanized iron or panels, thickness and color of your choice (see datasheets at the following pages) eventually prepared for windows or doors.‐ Stainless steel flashing, thickness 8/10, joints and rivets, with appropriate sealants specially made for stainless steel and high temperatures resistant.‐ Internal partition walls in panels with predisposition for transit openings.‐ Surface enamel painting, color of your choice or intumescent painting REI 30/60.‐ Coverage and perimeter walls made with GIESSE method: double corrugated galvanized iron (interior and exterior) insulated with glass wool or rock wool inside, thickness of your choice.‐ Roof lifelines.‐ Supply of industrial doors.‐ Emergency exits.‐ Mineral fiber panels for roof and wall insulation REI 30/60/120.

The structure of industrial buildings GIESSE is always made of hot‐dip galvanized steel, in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 1461 (“Hot dip galvanized coatings on fabricated iron and steel articles “).Hot dip galvanizing is one of the most popular methods for the protection of steel which in contact with the external environment undergoes inexorable and progressive loss of the typical properties of the metallic state.This protection of steel is obtained by full immersion in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of 450° C; in this way occurs the creation of a compact layer, called galvanizing, that completely covers the artifact providing a durable protection, very resistant and used in a vast field of applications.The protection occurs with a double mechanism: a barrier effect interposing between the steel surface and the corrosive atmosphere, and a cathodic protection, fretting in case of scratches, nicks or small uncovered areas instead of steel.
