Industrial Visit to National Small Industries Corporation & Physitech Electronics

On 12th March 2015 II&III year students of ECE Department visited National Institute of Small

Industries Corporation for one day Industrial Visit and Entrepreneurship Orientation program.

The event was Started at Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology,Himayath Sagar by

Inaugurating by the Dr.B.C Eeranna Principal, , Dr. J Namratha Manohar Dean Academics and

G.Parameshwar HOD Department of ECE ,.

Visit to Physitech Electronics:

Our Students visited ,New-Bhoiguda,Secunderabad.

Visit to National Small Scale industries Corporation(NSIC) :

Our students visited NSIC,ECIL X Roads,Secunderabad.

National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC), is an ISO 9001-2008 certified Government of

India Enterprise under Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).

NSIC operates through countrywide network of offices and Technical Centres in the Country. To

manage operations in African countries, NSIC operates from its office in Johannesburg, South

Africa. In addition, NSIC has set up Training cum Incubation Centre & with a large professional

manpower, NSIC provides a package of services as per the needs of MSME sector.

Our College organized industrial visit to NSIC(National Small Industries Corportation) on 12th

March, 2015 for B.Tech II nd and IIrd Yr Students. Students participated in this industrial tour

along with Faculty Mr. B.Kiran Kumar. Students reached there around 11:30 A.M. A lecture was

being delivered by Mr. M.V.Somasekhar to students that how NSIC runs its units all over India.

During lecture some set of questions had been asked to the students in order to assess and

motivate them to learn and ask more question based on the functioning of NSIC.

The purpose of the Industrial visit to NSIC was to introduce students with various services of

MSME units to provide skilled & professional workforce by imparting training on industry

oriented courses in the fields like Mechanical Workshop, Information Technology and

Entrepreneurship Development in NSIC Incubator. The students were acquainted with the

working of various semi automated machines used in various Micro, Small and Medium

Enterprises.

Finally a feed back form was given to all the students. Students stepped out of the company with

such a positive state of mind that they are looking forward to such more visits.

Student’s Feedback:-

This industrial visit enhanced the practical knowledge of students about SSI.

It helped us how to become a young entrepreneurs after management Course.

It gave us great experience how to run the small scale industries with optimum cost.

This industrial visit gave us an opportunity how to interface with real world.
