KNAACK & JAHN Anlagenbau GmbH was established in September 1996 from the three branches of KNAACK & JAHN GmbH Hamburg. With around 100 employees in Leuna and in the offices in Lippendorf and Bernburg, we work on individual solutions for high-performance manu-facturing processes and qualified technical further deve-lopments. Our competence has developed and continues to evolve through competent thought and action as well as a permanent readiness to provide a service in order to deal with multifarious challenges.

As specialists for the sectors of pipeline and apparatus, steel and plant construction we do not provide off-the-peg solutions. Our forte is knowing precisely what is and can be done. A durable capability is thus ensured through spe-cific production and quality strategies. Since October 1995 we have had a DIN ISO 9002 certified quality assurance system and are, of course, an audited specialist company according to Article 19.I of the German Water Resources Law (WHG), TRR 100 and TRD 201. KNAACK & JAHN plant construction was certified in 1998 according to the regulations of the SCC by TÜV-Nord Hannover/Sachsen-Anhalt and has all the required permits for the construction of pipelines and pressure vessels.

Flexibility, know-how and customer proximity go hand-in-hand for all projects. This creates a bond. In addition: All our welders are DIN EN 287-1 trained, tested and work under the constant supervision of a welding engineer. We shall be pleased to provide you with detailed information on the topics of certification and quality assurance.

Past and Present

• 1965 KNAACK & JAHN established in Hamburg

• 1991 The Delitzsch and Leuna branches established

• 1992 Opening of the assembly offices at the Thierbach and Lippendorf power stations

• 1992 – 1994 All permits, documentation and certificates for pipeline and pressure vessel construction obtained

• 1994 Opening of the office at the Buna factories

• 1995 ISO 9002 certification

• 1996 Establishment of KNAACK & JAHN Anlagenbau GmbH

• 1998 Certification according to the SCC safety standard

• 1999 – 2000 Move and modernization of the Leuna office

• 2003 Opening of the Bernburg office

We are currently concentrating all out on our further deve-lopment and are facing up to the challenges of technolo-gical novelties. For this, we maintain constant contact with our partners in industry as well as with customers.
