Rolyn’s biosafety services encompass the practices, procedures, and use of equipment needed to ensure
adequate safety conditions in healthcare facilities. These include clinical and diagnostic laboratories that
handle human clinical samples, biological research laboratories, and teaching laboratories.
Primary and secondary critical barriers including sealed service penetrations, specialized doors, entry
and exit avenues to preventvv cross-contamination, specialized air flow management systems for
contamination control, personal protective equipment (PPE), and biosafety cabinets.
Rolyn understands that biohazards are infectious agents or materials that present a potential health
risk. The risk can be direct through infection or indirect through the environment. Biohazards include
certain types of recombinant DNA; organisms and pathogens infectious to humans, animals, or plants
(e.g., parasites, viruses, bacteria, fungi, prions, and rickettsia); and biologically active agents (e.g., toxins,
allergens, etc.) that can cause disease in other living organisms or cause significant impact to the
environment or community.

Rolyn reduces the risks associated with biological hazards.

• Evaluate and prepare hazard site, including facility dedicated standby responders
