Music videos that have I admire or influenced by

Jessie j do it like a dude: I like this music video because they all act like boys and men and it shows to the audience that girls can just do as well men. Even though that the girls are wearing high heels and make up they are all still sending the message to the audience through the music and the video.

Willow Smith whip my hair: I like this music video just because I like how they have used the editing effects and transitions to make the colours come onto the screen. It has also made an influence to me because she is just saying to lay back and have fun and not be so serious all the time.

R5 all night: I love this video so much for two main reasons, one is because it is my favourite band in the music and second of all I love how they have made the video in the bathroom of maybe a club or something, the song is called all night so it seems that no matter where they are there is a party and that’s what I love about this video.

Megan Trainor: all about that bass: This music video is a big influence to me because it is showing them anybody of any size and weight is beautiful and it is not all about those that are skinny all the time and that people should be proud of who they are and not let anybody make you feel any different.

Kelly Clarkson: since you been gone: this video is once again influential as it shows that even though you may have a brilliant relationship but sometimes you are better off alone.

Leona Lewis bleeding love: I like this video just for the reason that I like how they have filmed it because it has tracking shots perfectly, it shows the story well the editing well and just because I like it.

When listing all of the reasons why I am

inspired by these videos I realise that it’s not just because I am a massive fan by all these artists but it is also because I like the way these specific videos use the camera shots like close ups and crowd shots to speak to the audience. They all talk to us about being confident and being ourselves and all of these music videos have this in common. In the music video that I will be creating I would like to do the same thing as these do which is to speak to the audience by not only the lyrics but by the way the camera angles are used as well because I find that that is the best way to make the best and simple music videos.
