• I posted a landscape photo to my profile stream on Google+ (https://plus.google.com/109632926185753183937/posts/LCu9yKCAjzm)• I then posted it to 5 Google+ photo-related Communities• After 12 hours, I collected and posted a simple spreadsheet* with various Google+ statistics related to the image posting:

• I then waited about 36 hours and was surprised to see that the spreadsheet posting had received 11,629 views!
• This Views count was abnormally high which raised several questions about the attributes of my 24,000 followers as well as the inner workings of Google+.
• Given the time to run several experiments, one could learn much about:• Optimal times to make postings• Which Communities are most beneficial wrt:
• Views• +1s• Gaining new followers
• Performance of a Community as a function of its member count (excessively large communities have scalability issues)
• The inner workings of Google+• And more…
