PROGRAMME DATE: 30 October 2016 – 26 January 2017 WORKSHOP DATE: 13 – 17 November 2016 CHALLENGE: As a dedicated humanitarian, how can you ensure that you are able to deliver sustainable results, both for yourself and your teams? ABOUT THE COURSE Relief Internaonal, in partnership with Leadership for Humanitarians, provides this training through the Start Network’s global Talent Development Project. The overall goal of Talent Development is to support localised leadership and provide capacity building to current local leaders. The Leadership for Humanitarians Signature Programme is intended for humanitarians who want to become change masters within their organisaon. This 3-month programme combines self-leadership with group leadership and provides you with the framework to be a WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Parcipants should be exisng Bangladeshi staff in senior management or leadership posions and ideally involved in humanitarian work. This programme specifically targets naonal staff, and strongly encourages applicaons from local NGOs and naonal community-based civil society organisaons, as well as Bangladeshi staff from INGOs. In order to obtain an equitable gender balance, it also strongly encourages applicaons from women. CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS TRAINING COSTS The programme is fully-funded by the UK’s Department for Internaonal Development, and is therefore offered at no charge. A parcipant’s organisaon is expected to cover any travel costs related to the face-to-face workshop in Dhaka, Bangladesh, which includes transportaon, accommodaon etc. There are funds available for parcipants to receive scholarship spends for these expenses. These funds are intended for small and medium-sized local NGOs where lack of funding may present a challenge to parcipaon. Eligible parcipants will be refunded addional costs during the workshop. To apply for this funding, please indicate this during the applicaon process. Assessment: Retake the Leadership Quotient Assessment and measure just how much change you’ve realised.
