Dear friends, All of the February releases are expected to in stock until the end of this week. This means that we will be able to dispatch your orders through next week and the week following. Deliveries will be sent out in order of receipt. We will be in Nurnberg from Wednesday, January 29th till Monday, Fe-bruary 3rd, 2014. This year, as opposed to previous years, our space has pretty much doubled in size. If you need to finalize an appointment with us, please don´t hesitate to contact Petra at department@eduard.cz to make the arrangements. Our booth is B-75 in Hall 7. We are looking forward to seeing you there! There is an exceptional kit item in the list of March releases, the F-4B Phantom II in 1/48th scale inthe Limited Edition line, released under the title “GOOD MORNING DA NANG!”. The plastic is acquired from Aca-demy. We added the usual mask and photoetch items, and the photoetch sheet alone can be considered to add a dimension to one of these kits not yet seen. The PE sheet is even improved by “fabric” the seatbelts included, first time added to an Eduard kit release. The fabric seatbelts sheet is supplied by the HGW company. Also the resin addition are exceptionally rich with both pilot seats, wheels and exhausts. The kit is rounded out by the decal sheets, printed by Cartograf and designed to our specs by Geoff Martin, owner of the popular Furball Aero Design. Five marking options contain three US NAVY and two US MARINES aircraft, two of them are MiG Killers, and one of them was really based in Da Nang. You can review the kit features in the item 1186 preview. We expect very good sales for this item thanks to the top level of accessories included, as well as for the good price, giving an excellent top price per value ratio. The total edition is limited to 3000 pieces only. However, normally the main kit item is a Profipackone , and for March this is the MiG-15 in 1/72nd scale. the new MiG-15 shares most of the plas-tic, except for the fuselage parts, with the MiG-15bis, a January release.

It can be said that this item is not too exceptional in the context of the Profipack line, but it is necessary to note thatboth these MiGs represent our vision of how we want to create our 1/72nd scale kits. 1/144 scale the Ju 87G is a re-edition of the older kit, with newly designed decals, photo-etch and boxart.

There are couple of interesting photoetch items in the March list. Among the notables, item 49068 REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT 1/48 FAB-RIC. This could be a good followup to our biggest photoetch bestseller, Set 49009 REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT, an item with total sales of over 16,500. The potential of the new set, developed by HGW company, lies in the material appearance, where the plastic material looks extre-mely realistic and imitates the real fabric. Simply said, it has a future! You can see the other interesting March items, including the sets for new 1/48th scale Airfix Javelin FAW.9 and Merlin HC.3, or 1/35th scale Pz.35(t) for Academy, as well as the very first set designed for the 1/32nd scale F-104G by Italeri in the pictorial part of today´s newsletter. Other sets forthe F-104G will be released in April. Turning to Brassin items, I would like to turn your attention to the 1/32nd scale kit of the famous German WGr.21 rocket, designed for the Bf 109G-6 by Revell. You will find the complete list, many pictures and detailed description of the March releases in today´s issue of the Eduard newsletter.
