I. NTRODUCTION

My ideal neighborhood was located in the center of Trujillo, is near of

a main avenues of the city: España Avenue and Mansiche Avenue.

It’s a good place to live because there is cinema, bakery, coffe bar,

stadium, pool, coliseum, fitness center, hotels, restaurants, travel

agencies and places to shoping.

The city of Trujillo is known as “The capital of the spring” and friendly

people. If Someone wan’t visite this is the better choice to spend the

day and have a good time. Also, the tourists can visit other important

places like huanchaco beach, the church, “Huaca del sol y la luna”

and “Chan Chan”.

II. NEIGHBORHOOD

Our neighborhood is very popular and very interesting because exist

history and there are many places where you should know them like:

Mansiche's stadium, Cineplanet's cinema, Cathedral’s church,

mansiche's park, Gran Chimu’s coliseum. In our neighborhood the

places are very attractive for the tourist because the majority of them

go to the Mansiche’s stadium and cathedral’s church.

Mansiche’s Stadium is the largest stadium in the city of Trujillo where

the Cesar Vallejo's team plays soccer every weekend. Sometimes the

Manucci's team plays soccer in that place too.

Cineplanet is the most popular cinema in the city of Trujillo, is a good

place, the cineplanet's workers are very funny and polite, they will

help you when you need or you have a doubt.

Gran Chimu's coliseum is the biggest coliseum of north of Peru, in

that place celebrates many holidays like: International "Marinera"

competition, volleyball games on the selection of Peru, Basketball

games too.

One of the most important things is that at night you must be careful

because lately our neighborhood is a little dangerous because the

street's lights are very soft.

In conclusion our neighborhoods there are different placer for

different ages where anyone can have fun and learn culture.

Description of location

In the center of the city there are differents places to visit. The center

plaza is located between Indepencia Street and Pizarro Street. In

Pizarro Street there are many restaurants, coffe bars, discos and

tourist agencies to visit: “Conache”, “Huanchaco beach”, “Huacas del

Sol y la Luna” and “Chan Chan”. Near, a one blocks from the curch of

Trujillo there is “Hotel Libertador” in the Orbegoso Street and on the

same Street a one block is cineplanet’s cinema.

A two blocks cinema is the España Avenue, turn right, walk up one

block there is Plaza Vea Supermarket; between Manuel Vera Avenue

and España Avenue there is Mansiche Stadium and Gran Chimu

coliseum where you can running, swimming or watch a game. In the

España Avenue a two blocks from Stadium there is a bakery,

crossing the Street there is municipal library next to is fire agency.

Behind of fire agency there are gym’s: one in the Zepita Street:

Fiorella gym and other in the Bolognesi Street: Full Forma gym.

If your walk up the españa avenue to the Juan Pablo II avenue found

on the corner of the Juan Pablo II avenue and Jesús de Nazareth

Avenue the Pizzanino pizzería, In front this the National university of

Trujillo with his great artistic mural, outside there is cash machine of

the national bank.

Between the Jesús de Nazareth Avenue and Alcides Carrión Street

there is an Albrech hospital and more restaurants, especially

cevicherías.

This is a good place to live because all that need is near.

IV. GIVING DIRECTIONS

DIALOG 1

STUDENT: Hi. Are you lost? Can I help you?

VISITOR: Hello. Yes, Thanks. Can you tell me if there

coliseums in Trujillo?

STUDENT: Yes. There's a Coliseum about 15 minutes away.

VISITOR: Fifteen or fifty?

STUDENT: Fifteen minutes.

VISITOR: What's the name of the Coliseum?

STUDENT: "Gran Chimu" Coliseum.

VISITOR: Could you give me directions to the Coliseum?

STUDENT: Sure. Go straight Independencia Street.

VISITOR: The street what?

STUDENT: Independencia Street. Then walk for two blocks.

Make a left. You’re going to see a Olympic Pool is on

the corner of Manuel Vera Avenue and España

Avenue. Then walk for three blocks, just across the

street.

VISITOR: Thank you!!

STUDENT: You can't miss it.

VISITOR: I know.

VISITOR: Good morning

STUDENT: Good morning, Can I help you?

VISITOR: Excuse me, could you tell me how I arrive to

Cathedral’s church?

STUDENT: Yes, sure. We are in small square “El recreo”. Take

that street it is name Pizarro Street, then continue

straight ahead for about four blocks. Then you come

to the Main Square of Trujillo, there turn right and

walk to the end of the block. It’ll be on your right.

VISITOR: Is it far?

STUDENT: It’s not far.

VISITOR: Thank you. Oh! Excuse me; do you know where the

Mall is?

STUDENT: Yes, the Mall it is Mansiche Avenue.

VISITOR: ¿How far is it to the mall from here? ¿Is it far?

STUDENT: Yes, a long way to walk, about a 1 km from here, is

better your take a taxi to get there.

VISITOR: OK. Thanks for your help.

STUDENT: You’re welcome my friend. Enjoys Trujillo.

V. GIVING ADVICE TO TOURIST

Our neighborhood is very quiet during the day, besides being clean

has many places that are intersects. I think you should know the

Mansiche’s stadium because it is well known in the city also because

playing professional football every weekend. I also think you should

know the cathedral’s church because it is the most important in

Trujillo besides being very pretty, beautiful, very old too. I forgot also

think you should know the great Chimu’s Coliseum, in that place

plays professional volleyball and professional basketball too. Also in

that place celebrates International "Marinera" competition. I can

recommend you a hotel that is very good in addition to being in the

center of the city "Libertadores" this hotel are very comfortable. That

hotel has a swimming pool so you can be relaxed and in good spirits.

I hope you have fun and enjoy your stay in the city of Trujillo,

welcome.
