The price of the workshop is just €1.00 and should prove to be a very in-formative and enjoyable performance. We would encourage all boys who are interested in music - no matter what instrument - it doesn’t
have to be the - to attend. The final day for the mon-ey is the day of the

Ms. Sinead O’Regan organised a person to come into us and tell us about the flag. On the 11/11/16 Cath Russell came into our school to talk to us about the Green School flag and how we can help get it for our school. She then told us the seven steps which are 1 Forming a committee 2 Environment review seeing how we all get to school, how safe the roads are for cycling/walking to school and so on. 3 Action plan, we have to write out what we are going to do to encourage people to walk/cycle/car pool to school. 4 Monitoring and evaluating, we have to check that we ae progressing on our active plan. 5 Curricular work, all classes have to
do a lesson about travel, in history or science etc. 6 Involving and informing everybody in the school committee must be in-volved and informed, through the “links” the green schools notice board and so on. 7. Green Code, this is a catchy slogan, we have a whole school committee to see who comes up with the best slogan. Cath Russell is going to do a Dr. Bike and cycle class session for all the classes of SNB. Third class have already done it. On the 14th of February 5th and 6th class are cycling to Inchydoney with a Garda escort and the parents association are going to provide food and drinks for everyone we would like to thank them
very much. On the 31st of January 3th
and 4th are cycling to Beamish Lagoon. In April the Whole school will have a COW day, Cycle on Wednesday, where we will all cycle to school escorted by the Garda. Jim Twomey and Thomas O’Donovan

It was a cold morning on Tuesday the 22nd of November on the long bus ride up to Doneraile. When we got there we were dying to get on the course. It was a great place to go because it was full of scenery. At first we had to cross a bridge and it was simple to get to the first one but lots of people got stuck on number six because it was in loads of bushes. Every one found their way through and there was a great lunch after. Well done to everyone who par-ticipated in the course. We had a great day. Darragh Mc Donald.

It would be so much safer if you did not bring children across the road by
the hand at 3.00 p.m. often crossing between cars and traffic, which can be dangerous and may even encourage another child to attempt the same on his own with possible disastrous conse-quences. Please, always use the wardens, when on duty and, at the very least, the zebra crossing which is there for this purpose.
Stay Safe notes will be given out in the coming weeks. See below for details. Stay Safe Notes for Seniors and the Seniors in Junior / Seniors (and book-lets) / Rang 3 / Rang 6.
