The Aerospace Industry has differing requirements from other manufacturing segments worldwide. The requirements can range from speed to torque tolerance to specialty attachments to specialty fasteners that are known only to aerospace industry. Ingersoll Rand Direct Solution Center is the option for a customer when adapting our products to fit their production requirements. The DSC focuses on solving your production requirements with the complete Ingersoll Product offering. Our intent is to customize our standard product, test, calibrate and pre-set the targets before the tool is sent back to you. Whether it is temporary fastener attachment or hi lock attachment, our DSC can offer you a turnkey solution. Additionally, extra FOD protection is available by using Loctite for the fasteners on the tool that is being adapted. Below is an example of a current product offering for a customer according to their standards. Your standards can differ and the DSC can customize according to your standards.

Conditions of Use:1. All tools are ordered and received using the ‘–L10K’ or similar nomenclature suffix from the Ingersoll Rand®

DSC facility in Dallas, TX.2. All tools are programmed, calibrated, validated, tested, and used in production @ 10% tool max speed.3. All tools will be calibrated prior to shipment to Customer by a qualified Ingersoll Rand® technician.4.“Accuracy: ± 10% of set point within the tool range specified” (see note in Working Torque Range box below).
