Awards History

Mark Kennedy - Mini trophy. Mark was an integral part of starting our minis off, and was very prominent in the early days of the soccer club. Mark held many positions with the soccer division, he also went on to become involved in the youth club.

David Lakaitis - Senior trophy. He was a player who had been with the soccer division for many many years. One who always showed true sportsmanship and generally loved the game of soccer. He was always willing to lend a hand and help out with younger teams. It was a sad loss to many people when David passed away so young due to a workplace accident. Hence many senior players wanted to honour his memory so the parents were approached and that is how the senior trophies came into being. Due to his involvement in Premier League and his fairness to the game the two trophies came into being.

Stan Shepherd Coaches Award - In 2009 long serving coach for our club for nearly 20years, Mr Stan Shepherd, initiated this award at one of our meetings and as such the Club Coaches Award will be now known as the Stan Shepherd Coaches Award. We know that each team has different challenges through the season, some will become Minor Premiers and Grand Final winners others will struggle at the other end of the table, the award should not be just based purely on success. The award is intended to go to the coach who reflects the spirit of the Eagles as a family club.

Presidents Award - Club Person on the Year. In 2008 the Committee instigated the Presidents Award, awarded to the Club Person of the Year based on the following criteria. * Actively involved in Ground Duties (Set Up/Canteen duty etc) when their team is on duty. * Attends meetings * Goes above and beyond their role in the club as a committee person, coach, manager,or player .

2011 INGLEBURN EAGLES SOCCER CLUB EXECUTIVE REPORT Firstly, I like to thank members of both the current Executive and General Committees in their support, help and advice during the 2011 season. For those who don’t realise it, running a sporting club our size, is a year round commitment, with ongoing planning and decision making. To those on the committee especially the executive committee members who are stepping down after at least four years of loyal service, THANK YOU, the club would not be in the strong position it is for the future, in team and player numbers, financially and the success on and off the field. Thank you to the players, coaches, managers, and to all those volunteers who worked tirelessly as ground officials, team officials, canteen, setup and pack up duties. Also to the parents, family members and supporters who watch our games. In 2011, our numbers stayed strong with over 480 players, coaches and managers with 29 teams representing our club during this season. Due to the ongoing financial support received, we were able to continue to assist players and families in need with their registration and match fees. We also purchased further training equipment as part of our ongoing commitment to improve all players to reach their potential and goals. Home ground improvements have commenced with Campbelltown City Council in the upgrade of the watering system. We were very successfully on the field:

represented the club in the State and Sydney Cup Competitions Minor Premiers, U12-4s, U13-2s and LAA1

2 teams won their Grand Finals (U12-2s and AA5) *LAA1 qualified for the Quarter Finals of the State Champion of Champions

But winning isn’t everything with a number of our teams experiencing a difficult year on the field and hopefully 2012 will be a brighter season for the teams, AA1 and U15 Div 1.These teams should be acknowledged for their determination and commitment, they are a credit to themselves, the team, coaches, managers, and their parents. The 2011 season started with the Season Launch back in March which involved the Small Sided Teams playing in their Annual Small Sided Gala Day involving other local teams including Minto, Gunners and for the first time Campbelltown Cobras. We also played Trial matches against the Liverpool Rangers Soccer and other local teams.

Our club is recognised as the Family Club and the aim of the committee is to reduce on and off the field sports rage. This year we had 10 less Red Cards compared in 2011, a tribute to all, especially the fact there were fewer matches in 2010. I must applaud the AA5 team who did not receive a red card during the season highlighting you can play senior sport in the right spirit and still be successful Our Under 12-2s did the club proud representing us in playing matches on the floating pontoon at Darling Harbour losing in the Grand Final (in a penalty shootout) after being undefeated up to that point. Recently the Ingleburn Eagles Soccer Club was invited to the 2011-12 Sydney FC launch to present Nick Carle his new playing shirt for the season. It was discovered that Nick Carle played for our club as a small sided player. Two representatives of our club Lyndon Crotty (AA4) and Nathan McKneight (U21s) attended Vangar Point, Solomon Islands as part of their School immersion and presented Ingleburn Eagles Soccer Club playing shirts, socks, shin pads and soccer equipment including soccer balls to the local teams. This is the third time our club has supported soccer in the Solomon Islands where soccer is the number one sport Volunteers are the backbone of all organisations like Ingleburn Eagles Soccer Club and we encourage you to be part of our club either as a committee person, coach/manager or just a helper. We as a committee recognise the importance of volunteers and during 2011 a volunteer each week won a $25.00 Petrol voucher at the Caltex Service Station, Lagonda Drive, Ingleburn and later in the season a $25 Meat Voucher at Supreme Meats, Ingleburn Fair. At this point I would like to thank our sponsors for 2011 and I am confident that they will return once more in 2011: Australian Child Care Options (ACCCO), Caltex Lagonda Drive, Kwik Kerb and Revolution Smash Repairs, Les Farkas, Woolworths, Glenfield, Big Dan’s Contracting, Supreme Meats, Ingleburn, Wealth and Virtue, Ingleburn Finally, thank you to all those involved in the success of our club in 2011, we welcome new people to our family friendly club and you are all invited to attend our AGM on Monday 14.11.11 at 7.30pm at the Ingleburn RSL Club. Just ask us – we’re the best! Now that goes for everyone on and off the field. This is a group of players that act like and play like ‘A Team’. The future of each and every player should be watched with anticipation. Everyone’s skills have improved remarkably during the year, in particular ball control and passing. Our game day starts with a huddle and match plan, in particular the direction of our goal. A few cheers and laughs then we’re ready to line up to run on to the field. As the team runs on to the centre of the field, our supporters give a resounding cheer. Our players are; Matthew – he is an outstanding all-rounder. Matthews’s skills shine particularly when in attack. Kurt – he is an exceptionally determined and focused player. Thomas - he was always looking to push the ball forward. What we considered as our play maker. Jett – his centre of attention is kicking a goal. If ever a player was in the right place at the right time – and he knows where that place is when we’re attacking – right in front of the goal area. Hayden – watch out when he wants the ball – his unwavering focus always results in success. Abbie – A cheerful and gentle person who shows bravery when on the field. She never hesitated to have a go, even when faced with a stampede of boys. On completion of the game our team gathered, reflected on the outcome, and enjoyed a lolly or two. In conclusion, I would like to thank our unofficial coach - Matthew Sipek for his help throughout the year. Thank you also Steve for your assistance with the set up and take down also. I’m particularly grateful of the parents, for their support and enthusiasm at every game and at training throughout the year.

Motivation drives inspiration!

Elijah Daniels, Caleb Groves, Kira Holmesby, Lachlan Maddick, Simon Watson, & Cooper Wilesmith. This was the first season for every player in U6 White and all bar one player turned 5 this year. It is an understatement to say we had a young and inexperienced team. However without a shadow of doubt season 2011 was a great year for U6 White. Every player improved their skill levels and game play. This was done through practicing hard both at home and at training. They are a great bunch of players and it was a privilege for me to be involved with the players and their families. Every player had a great go and we improved as a team as the season went on. I must also note that the families of the players were excellent, every family had a representative on our duty days, and also helped out when called upon. The families created a great atmosphere for the players to have fun and learn to play the beautiful game. Elijah Daniels: A ferocious defender who played and trained with lots of energy. Over the course of the season Elijah’s ball skills improved and he grew in his understanding of the game. A great first season. Caleb Groves: No one on the team trained harder than Caleb. Over the year he grew in confidence and started to win the ball off the opposition regularly. He also has developed a devastating right foot, which he continues to develop will terrorise many a keeper over the coming years. Kira Holmesby: This girl loves her soccer. She brought a joy and energy to our team that all appreciated. She developed hers skills throughout the year and turned her left foot into a weapon. As Kira grows in confidence her skills will become more evident and she will trouble many a defence over the years. Lachlan Maddick: A champion player who is both an energetic and busy player. He works hard in attack and defence. He has a natural inclination to defend, but also loves to come forward and score goals. Lachlan has good skills which he improved this season. He also has the most intense game face I have ever seen. Simon Watson: A skilful player whose ball control improved greatly this season. He fought hard for the ball and was effective in defence and also scored goals. Simon trained hard this season and improved greatly and will continue to do so. Cooper Wilesmith: Possibly our busiest player. Cooper chased and hounded the opposition in defence all season. He greatly improved his ball control over the course of the season and scored many good goals. He was a joy to coach and will continue to improve and he trains hard. Overall we had a great season together. Thanks to the parents who were consistently helpful, positive and supportive through the season. Also thankyou to the Eagles club who are a very easy club to play for. To the U6 whites I say thanks for the season. Don Watson -Coach

GGRREEAATT SSOOCCCCEERR!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly, a big thank you to all the parents for their support throughout the season. Well were to start. The boys had a great season with 3 boys playing soccer for the first time. All the boys trained really hard at training and improved their soccer skills. At the start of the year we struggled to kick the ball but towards the end of the year we could all trap and pass the ball as well as move the ball around with both feet. The season started slowly. We came up against some really good teams and conceded lots of goals against us. But what was pleasing was the boys never gave up and showed great sportsman ship in defeat. I think the parents should all be proud of them. Winners are always happy. But even when we lost the boys where all still smiling. But we hit a purple patch with our last few games of the season. Every boy had scored a goal which was fantastic. There was one special game we played which was clearly our best game for the whole year. It was against a team that smashed us earlier in the season by more than 12 goals. We played the first half beautifully. It was 2 all at half time. The boys were clearly tired. I sit the boys down to give my usual speech. Where I ramble on for 5 minutes while the boys eat snakes. But!!!! this week, Katrina had made these fantastic chocolate cup cakes. In all my playing years of soccer I have never had a cake at half time. It was always a orange and a drink of water. But I said nothing, I just looked at the boys with chocolate all over their fingers and faces. Then the whistle blew and the boys played their best soccer all year. Every player had scored a goal. I could not believe it.Towards the end of the game I was calling our boys back to give the other team a chance to kick the ball. We were on fire. Young Micah was the only player in the team who had not scored but his team mates put him through the gap and he smashed the ball in the back of the net. It was a magical second half. I don’t know what Katrina put into those little cup cakes but the boys had so much energy, it was the stand out game of the year. Our team was made up of 6 players which I split up into groups of two which it made it easier for the substitutions. So we had Brendan and Brandon (B1 & B2). Both these boys where playing their first season of soccer. These two boys started slowly but were right into it towards the end of the season. Scored some great goals. Brendan had problems staying on his feet, tackled everybody and always at training ready to go as well as having a great cheer squad of support.

Brandon joined later in the year but caught up real fast. He has the pace, wasn’t afraid of the ball played great soccer. The next pair Riley and Hayden (Blondes). Both played great soccer. Riley playing his third year was always in the play. Loved tackling always smiling. Nothing seems to bother him Mr Cool. Hayden playing his first year started slowly. Loved to slide tackle. But towards the end of the year was my most improved player. He was training hard and kicking the ball really well. On our last game of the regular season the other team was short Hayden played for them. He played his best game against us. He was the most improved player this year. We missed him at the gala day. The last group was Micah and Joshua (the odd couple). Both playing their second season. Micah was only 5 for most of the year.He is very quiet and polite. But he was our best defender. Tackled all the bigger boys. He was not afraid to get into the game. Had a great season. Lastly the coach’s son. Well we had our running battles throughout the year. Sometimes I wanted to throttle him and other times I just laughed. On one occasion we were getting smashed and I was telling the boys don’t give up, keep chasing. When a boy from the other team dribbles the ball around Josh and starts to head for the goal, Josh reaches out and grabs the boys shirt and pulls him off the ball. I immediately have to stop the game and explain to Josh that you cannot grab the other players shirt. He yells at me and says “well he is too fast and he is not sharing the ball.” The other coach just laughs. That was our season for 2011. Lastly a big thank you to Katrina for managing the team throughout the year and all sugary treats at halftime. Paul & Katrina Coach & Manager

GREAT SOCCER!!!!!

UUnnddeerr 99 YYEELLLLOOWW GGRREEAATT SSOOCCCCEERR!!!!

As the coach of the U9 Yellows, the team welcomed Daymon D'Cruz into the team playing his first season. Many players returned for the 2nd or 3rd season with the team, and included Mathew Barron, Jesse & Kane Doran, Bevan Hawkins, Jack Jolley, Muhamed Kalic, Jayden Lo and Luke Thompson. This year our objective was to get our team playing in position with strategy in mind. The team started the season off well with a number of convincing wins against evenly skilled teams. There were however some teams in our league that were very professional, and we faced some big losses. With the wet season kicking in, the weekend that was washed out brought a temporary sigh of relief as we were to play Bradbury U9 Maroon for the 3rd time, who beat us 9-0 in round 3 and 5-0 in round 10. Never the less we were improving! We certainly had our share of challenges this year on and off the field. When the decision was made for the washed out round to be played the following week, I thought how to best handle this challenge. Build the kids fitness so that they can have the stamina to stay with the very talented Bradbury team. The Bradbury team looked as though they all had done several Brazilian training camps. The strategy this time around was DEFENSE! With Matthew as sweeper, Luke, Daymon, and Muhamed as defenders, they supported Kane who did a superb job as Goalkeeper. Jayden, and Jesse were playing midfield and Jack as Striker. In the 15th minute Jack got a break and beat their keeper to give us the lead! We maintained this lead for the remainder of the first half. Bradbury's coach walked past cheekily saying; "You finally got your boys organised! Lets see what happens in the 2nd half!' They had about 30 adults watching this game. During half time, i continued to build the kids spirits, not letting them rest on the 1-0 lead.

We did the club CHANT to psych out the other team. WIN LOSE OR DRAW we are HERE TO STAY GO EAGLES!!!! The 2nd half saw Bradbury take the kick off with one touch straight up to their winger for an immediate attack. Fortunately saved by Kane our goal keeper. Bradbury would have had 80% possession of the ball.

With a corner opportunity, Jack took the kick and it swung around, catching their keeper off guard, he got a hand to it but it was a goal. The score 2-0, our lead. Bradbury was taking every opportunity to level the score. Even attempting to duplicate a goal from a corner several times. Our defenders stuck on their strikers making it very hard to shoot. Kane doing a brilliant job as keeper, only conceding a small fumble and the ball sneaking through his legs. It was 2-1. Pressure was building and my team maintained their composure. The focus was now more than ever is to work as a team With 5 minutes remaining, we knew we could bring it home. Our boys were tiring and after numerous saved goals, our goal kicks were being intercepted by the opposition every time. Bradbury's squad consisted of a team of 10 and they were substituting 3 at a time, so they always had fresh and rested players. We had only 1 sub for this game. We managed to hang on for the WIN! and our boys and more so the parents were ECSTATIC!

We gave the 3 cheers for Bradbury and they returned the favour albeit significantly less enthusiastically. I shook the coaches hand and said "Great game, we like playing your team because your boys are so tight!" He squeezed out a smile in acknowledgement. As I rounded up my team, I heard Bradbury's coach addressing his team amongst their 30 odd adults who were expecting an easy win. "It was an unlucky loss boys, It is only the 2nd game we have lost all season!" That means that they were the comp leaders (if it was point scored) and we managed a win against them. The fact that they were technically greater skilled, and played a great game, highlights the fact that our boys, when focused can take on the best! Even though our team is varied in skill level and fitness, the boys equipped with the knowledge and respect for the game. This was the best example of the Team working together and putting their skills learnt at training and putting into action on the field. I would also like to thank Allan Doran for his time as Manager of the team, and Nick Kalic as assistant Coach, and last but not least all the parents for supporting the team! Congratulations Under 9 Yellow. Gavin Lo Under 9 Yellow Coach

COACH - CHARLIE KAIROUZ MANAGER - LORIS KAIROUZ What a fantastic year for our Under 9 Blue team for 2011!!! This team worked their hardest this year and as a result, they had many wins making it to the 4th round under 9's knockout competition. This would not have been possible if it weren't for the great efforts put in by these terrific little players and of course their parents who tirelessly helped and guided their future socceroos! A big thankyou for all the parents who helped at training and coaching when Charlie couldn't make it. you all made a difference. Good luck with your future and hope to see you all again next year. PLACE Joshua Barrameda, Thomas Colgrave, Aaron Cook, Zac Coupland, Imran Diab, Mason Emmett, Sam Everett, Thomas Holyday, Michael Jarjas, Liam Kelly, Cameron Maddick, Scott McIlveen, Jason Minton, Jeffery Morcos, Daniel Spehar, Sam Williamson, Michael Everett (Coach), Travis Maddick (Manager) Well another year gone by and another step closer to being Champions. We finished a great 2nd on the ladder but were beaten by 2 good sides in the semi’s to end 3rd. This year we had some new faces come into the side and our prospects looked very good from the start. The 1st half of the year netted us a solid 3rd position on the ladder but Travis and I knew we could do better. The 2nd half of the year was much more satisfying as a parent and a coach, as the teams effort really took off, the boys hit their straps and remained undefeated for the rest of the regular season. While the semi’s didn’t work out for us the boys showed a fantastic fighting spirit and we as parents can be extremely proud of our sons. Another highlight for me as a coach was the amount of improvement across the team. All of the boys are now prepared to “go in hard” which can only hold in good stead for next year. As 2012 will see us go up into 2nd division where every game will be like this year’s top 3 – 4 matches. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our parents and supporters for their fantastic effort throughout the year. We even had an EPL type singer amongst us (name withheld) which was great to hear from the other side of the field. Furthermore, I would like to thank Travis for his incredible assistance my coaching job was made extremely easy with his support. Looking forward, I hope to see you all back next year ready for the tough assignment that will be 2nd Division. Boys if you are outside don’t forget to kick the ball every now and then, even if it is cricket season. The club will start some preseason training in Dec so let’s try and make an effort to get down there as our season will need even more effort next year. Keep your eye on the web site as rego dates for next year are already up. Once again great effort this year boys and we hope to see you next year Kind regards Michael

Luke Jackson Lachlan Shiner Zachary Fresen Adam Snel Keegan McKneight Pritham Mahal Liam Falls Robert Glass Rajat Kumar Nathan Brock Miles Dela Cruz Brendan Facchinelli Makenzie Johnson Sherwin Singh Aaron Kreltszheim Brett Smith We ended last years report with the words ‘We hope you’ll be back next year’. 10 of last years players returned and we were fortunate enough to have some new players join us. These new players complemented a team that already had the skill, the passion and the heart but we always fell short of fulfilling our potential. We welcomed Nathan, Sherwin, Zachary, Brendan, Liam, Brett and their families into the team. From the first match we could see that our new recruits would fit into the team extremely well. With a little fine tuning to positional play, we knew we had the team to improve on last years’ performance of making the minor semi final. A win in the first round and everything was starting well. The second round saw us on the end of a flogging from Bradbury, one of the Div 1 teams, that came down. We were left scratching our heads and reassuring the boys that the loss was ‘just one of those things’. How right that statement was when we look back at the year. We continued through the remainder of the first 7 games only losing one more, again to the other Div 1 Team, Narellan (Blue). Things were starting to come together and the cohesion within the team was excellent. The boys were starting to create opportunities, beginning with our strong backline through to the hardworking midfield and onto the skilful forwards. All the skills, training and advice that we had taught them over the last few years was finally sinking in. The passing was excellent, the team work sensational and the comradery, whether winning or down by a goal, was inspiring. A few more positional changes and we were ready for the remainder of the season. The big test was to come when we met the 2 top teams, who were the only ones to have beaten us so far. We were confident that we had everyone in the right positions and that this team had improved considerably, since the start of the season. The team that beat us 6-1 in the first round, Bradbury, had to be satisfied with a draw and more importantly for the boys, even though we were behind for the whole match, they held their heads up and scored in the last minute, to salvage a draw. It was at this point that you could see their confidence and hunger grow. They began to step up and there was improvement in every game. We then took on the top team and had a draw. This team now had everything going for them, skill, heart, passion and a newly gained confidence in themselves. For the remainder of the season , we knew the only teams who could beat us were Narellan (Blue) and Bradbury. When we next came up against one of them, Bradbury, we smashed them 4 – 0. That win ensured us of outright second and we would remain there, if we could win two of our last three games. We won the next two games convincingly, although not playing well.

Our final match of the season was against Narellan (blue) who were undefeated and had clinched the minor premiership. A win, a draw or a loss would have no bearing on our position on the ladder. Second position was ours. We lost this game 3 – 1 but it was close for most of the game and we still weren’t playing as well as we could. More importantly, the game, had helped Arbin and I devise a plan, to give us a chance to defeat the undefeated Minor Premiers, when we met again the next week in the Major Semi Final. I will always remember the 3rd of September 2011, the Major Semi Final, as the day that a team of champions, went into a game as underdogs and finished as legends. These boys would play the best game we had ever seen from them, led by our captain Brendan. Arbin and I gave the boys a plan to follow and they stuck to it. We were all truly inspired by how these boys went out there and gave everything they had till they could give no more. They passed, they chased, they tackled and with the amount of effort that they put in, there was no way that we were going to lose this game. Strong attack up front with Rajat, Keegan and Lachlan, gave us goal in each half. The midfield of Sherwin, Aaron, Liam were outstanding and our impenetrable defence of Macka, Nathan, Luke and Pritham, kept the undefeated minor premiers scoreless. We won 2 – 0 and we were through to the Grand Final. Making the Grand Final was an achievement in itself and I thought the boys would possibly be satisfied with just getting there. I could not have been further from the mark. They wanted to win the Grand Final and become the Premiers. The conditions for the Grand Final were not ideal, a howling, cold wind blowing down the ground would make for a difficult game. We ran with the wind and spent the majority of the first half attacking their goal but coming up empty and the score was nil all at halftime. The second half, running into the wind, would test the boys desire to win. Narellan were camped in our half for the first 10 mins taking a few shots which were, as usual, saved by our goalkeeping sensation, Rob. Then out of nothing we were able to get the ball upfield to Rajat, who took on the defence and his shot was saved. The ball bounced back out and he gave a great pass to Adam. Adam had a shot, which was again saved but deflected and backing up , as he did all season was Zac, who lined up for a shot and put a screamer away with his left foot. The crowd went off and the boys could smell victory. For the remainder of the match, with nothing to lose, Narellan threw everything at us but the determination and confidence the boys had, ensured we kept them scoreless yet again and we were the ‘Premiers’ winning 1 – 0. I don’t think I was the only one with a tear in my eye when they won. Most of this team has been together now for 4 or 5 years and to have all this come together for them and the smiles on their faces is something I’ll never forget. Congratulations boys on all you have achieved this year and you have shown that anything is possible with dedication and effort. In finishing, I would like to thank all the parents who supported the boys this year. It was an outstanding year and you all made it possible. To our Manager Karen McKneight, who worked tirelessly, to ensure this teams success. Most of what Karen did throughout the year goes unrecognised but without her, this team would not have been the Premiers.

And finally to Arbin , my co coach for your efforts this year. We worked well together and I look forward to coaching with you next year in Division 1. See you all next year. Michael Jackson Arbin Kumar Karen McKneight

UUnnddeerr 1122--44 MINOR PREMIERS

JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONS

We had a great year this year ……. After the first trial game back at Liverpool vs. Liverpool Rangers I said to Scott my Manager what have we got ourselves into this year after losing about 12-0. But I believe this game was the start that the team needed as after this game we believe the team somehow picked something up from this lose to going throughout the season without any further loses…. A Great effort team…. Watching the first couple of games Scott and I were happy that we were winning but though just maybe we were lucky. Then along came our first game vs. East Campbelltown which found us being in front only to find that if we thought we had it in the bank .. we didn`t.... As East Campbelltown came back and ended up having a draw with us… This woke the team up and they never looked back from this going on a 12 game winning streak with the last game being between Eschol Park and us to decide the 1st place and the comp. After being behind 2-0 in the first half and seeing the worst game ever played by the team I got up and told them .. ITS up to you , as you’re the only ones who can win or lose this game… I believe this pumped the boys up as they came back with 2 great goals to have a draw with Eschol Park making us undefeated minor premiers and also 1 point clear of Eschol Park who ended up 2nd…. Along come the finals after waiting, we went into the first round of the finals vs. Eschol Park our team fell to them losing 2-1 forcing us to play on Sunday at Tahmoor (9am). We gave it our all but I believe being tired from the day before game we fell to East Campbelltown 3-1.… But we had a great year and I wouldn’t pass it up for anything else…. Joshua (Captain) Mason. Some great improvement this year on and off the field especially after taking on the captain role and started to shine towards the end of the season when the team need him the most…. Alex Boyd. This whippy little winger is a player you want there at the right time, he always found himself in the right place at the right time for a cross or just to help finalise that last hit in, with some great support plays. William Taylor. Like Alex I found William to be a great winger of the game always willing to go in for that tackle that needs to be taken or even starting a team off on a run to come back on a Eschol Park side by scoring that break-away goal that you need… Alec El-Achrafi. Joining our team from Fields Untied I found after the first couple of games to use him as a secondary forward he worked out these moves that only I can dream of. (like taking 4 Eschol Park players on and still scoring) Sahill Singh. As quiet as Sahill comes he doesn’t show it on the field, I found him as a defender that he would be there all the time when you need him there, to stop that breakaway or to help counter the game. Michael (the Goalie) Pace. Michael is the one true thing I could rely on in this team even though at training he would turn up and train like he need a red bull.. But game time whenever sick or not he would still pull off some great saves with only letting 13 goals in through the season with 5 being in the finals.. Not to forget he scored 4 goals himself. Zane Taseski. Zane also came to us from Fields United and found his feet early on in our team in the mid’s using his speed and long balls really useful helping our speedy forwards putting away some great breakaway goals.

Lachlan Reid. Every year I coach this side Lachlan improves more and more I found him this year getting more involved , His defence has improved with some great stops and quick unloads and his ball work through to the front line was getting better as the year went on. Lucas Perras. Our 3rd player from Fields Untied, and I have to say Lucas is a player that has a great long ball with the ability to be a great defender as well, I found Lucas a great find in this team, with him being a very useful player Anthony Ong. I have had the pleasure of coaching Anthony a couple of times now and like normally Anthony is a great defender always willing to hang back even if you ask him to play forward…best of all he’s always there you don’t find this player going to far up just in case of that quick breakaway. Adam Maxwell. This is my 4th year coaching Adam and every year he shows up doing that little bit better I found Adam a great outside midfielder this year, don’t let Adam fool you with his size, as I find he has the biggest heart in there and when on the field he uses it at 110% by never giving up weather he’s on a runaway down the wing or ploughing that ball in the back of the net… I can`t wait to see what Adam does next. Connor (Mouse) Ling. This was Connors first year of soccer, to be honest I have never met a child that doesn’t talk so much about the game but knows so little… he was always wanting to do slide tackles only to find out doing them causes loss of skin down the side .. but the best part was he may be a small first year player but half way through the year he had learnt the basics in the game and was even moving onto the positions which he adapted well . A great First year Connor…. Shaniya D’Cruz. Another new player this year and along with Lachlan C were the youngest in our team but don’t let this put it against her she can still put some great stops in and even came so close to putting the first ever goal away… it would be great to see her come back next year . As a more experienced player and to take more of those boys on Nishant (Nish) Kumar. Was there anything this kid couldn’t do after putting him up front in the first game this kid never looked back scoring on average 2 goals a game for about the first 6 games. I lost count on how many he scored as I stopped counting at 20.With his speed and long ball he is a real good find and helped guide our team to the premiership. Ben Hampton. Ben came back for another season after joining a great friendship with Joshua over the summer, but don’t let this fool you he still put in a superior effort this year, mainly playing fullback, I found Ben a pleasure to coach especially watching him put his first goal away vs. Appin not to forget watching his parents faces afterwards, Ben was always a dependable player in what ever position he was playing. Lachlan Clifton. This was Lachlan’s first year playing soccer but please don’t let that be the final word. I believe Lachlan can really take this game to the next level, after being one of the youngest players I found him the fastest and where ever he played he would always be in the thick of things weather it was stopping a unstoppable breakaway, or in support of a goal, he showed me, that he would never give up. All in all I was happy to coach this side, this year. I would like to thank all the kids for a great season. The parents a big thankyou for your help and support throughout the year. I would like to thank Scott Gliddon for being my right hand man (Asst Coach/Manager) also I would like to my family for putting up with my highs and lows of the year .. Thankyou one and all Daniel Prince Coach 12/4’s 2011

UUnnddeerr 1144 //11..

UUnnddeerr 1144 // 33.. The boys started off the season extremely well. Our 2011 team consisted of a half dozen returning players and many new players to make up our original 15 strong team. Our inexperienced new players (one who had never played soccer before) improved greatly and were invaluable as the season progressed. It was great to see all of the players developing throughout the season. Half way through the competition we lost a great goalkeeper who moved interstate and we also had a few long term illnesses and injuries. There were several games that were played with reduced numbers or no reserves. Despite these setbacks the team made a great effort week after week. We placed third in the competition and made it through to the playoffs. What a fantastic and very exciting game. The team came so close to progressing through to the next round but unfortunately were knocked out in the penalty shootout. We were defeated by Tahmoor who went on to win the final. Congratulations to Tahmoor and to all of the under 14 division 3 teams for a very enjoyable season. Thank you to all of the parents and families who sacrificed their time to take their sons to training and to the games. Your support is very much appreciated. The boys appeared to really enjoy this season but it was the parents who were losing their voices on the sidelines. Thanks again for the support! The players are no longer just team mates, there have been some solid friendships formed. The boys have matured and displayed great sportsmanship throughout the competition. The team is looking forward to celebrating a successful season with a go karting outing and family barbeque. We are looking forward to a fantastic 2012 season and hope to see the return of all players. Brian Walker (Coach) and Nalini Colgrave (Manager).

UUnnddeerr 1144 GGIIRRLLSS . This year was like a rebuilding year as most of the players moved up to the 18 girls, I found however the girls still wanted to learn and was a tentative to do it. With about 5 players that had played soccer before we started a bit slow but those 5 helped the others in learning at training and upon our first game vs. East Campbelltown we found our first win. With a win out of the way I believe the team started to work a bit more but found the rest of the teams a bit hard to come by losing to them all until we played East Campbelltown again when we found another win. This is how our season resulted we seem to play well vs. East Campbelltown but lacked to all the others, We ended up coming 5th out of 6 teams just missing out on the finals but still a great effort by all players. Emily - I found Emily a very quite player, but would never give up. I believe if she would open her mouth on the field (e.g. Calling the ball etc..) she may strive to be a better player. Renee - our main goalie this yeah I found Renee a bit slow to start the year, however upon coming out mid season I found she showed no fear and was one if not the best defence weapon we had. Ashley - Ashley was 1 of the 5 that had played before and it showed. Starting the year in the backs I found she was always there when you needed her, After moving her to the sweeper role our backline improved which showed in goals scored against us.. Tenesha T - after being coached by my other half I believe tenesha brought strength and depth to our team a very good stopper of the ball. I found she held her position well and shows some great improvement in years to come. Theresa - What can I say about her except she will have to learn on not to get tips from her brother as I found her playing on the ground more then playing soccer…. LOL , However towards the end of the year she started playing real soccer hit some great volleys long range kicks helping the forwards in there attack… Jackyln - found in slow to start but ending the year with more aggression going into tackles and moving the ball around. Danielle - At times when she turned up, I believe she did her best with more effort put in she would get some great enjoyment out of the game. Tenesha D - I found tenesha a pleasure to coach, her first year in club soccer after playing school soccer she picked up really well and I think she turned out being one of the best players we had in our team a real take no prisoners player. Margret - starting the year I though she was a bit scared of the ball worried for the ball

hitting her, but found her towards the end of the season moving in attacking the ball with some great movement off the ball. Angeline - a real runner of the game I found she would give up to early but at times was also sluggish of moving, however towards the end of the season she started putting in 110% effort towards the game, whether it was running or ball work something I would have love to have seen from her all year.. Kiama - Not just a pretty name but also a great runner, with some great breakaway goals and showed at the end of the season that she also has a mean side to her, Using some of those old hard hits from he ex rugby league days. Yasmine - another good runner and after a few nights at training I found a good partnership between her and Kiama up front which built up to a great forward line using her speed to put some brilliant goals in the back of the net. Emma - I believe Emma was/is a great player of the game always there when you needed her, Whether she was up front helping the forwards or in the backs stoping a goal. I found putting her in the centre mid role helped us well as she controlled the game well and towards the end of the year taking over the Capt. role bring the whole team together well. Lara - starting the year off as a back and Capt. She was 1 of the most spoken players of the game. Always willing to put her experience in the game to the point for the team, Whether she was in goals or in the forward line she was a well respected player in the side. As a team who were at the start of there careers in the sport whether they won or lost, each and every girl got on well and found some great friendships in the side. I owe a lot to my manager Mellissa so I would like to say thankyou Mel for your help throughout the year. I would also like to thank Anthony, Tracy, steff (18 girls), Val and all the players from the all age ladies div 2 for helping me at training with the team. I would also like to thank my family for there support throughout the year. And not to forget a big thankyou to all the players parents for there support and encouragements win lose or draw.. Next Year Will Be Our Year..

This year commenced with the formation of a new squad to take on the challenge of division one football. We had 8 players return form 2010 and 7 new players join us. Some had only played at school with a couple joining from rugby league. The team performed okay in their two trial games and were looking forward to the competition starting. All realised that this would be a steep learning curve. The team also welcomed Nathan McKneight as an assistant coach for the season. Nathan proved to be a valuable asset as I had to miss weeks due to travel commitments with work. During the early rounds of the competition the boys self-belief was missing and as a result we lost the first few games of the season. We were only competitive for portions of the games but as soon as we conceded a couple of goals we could see the heads drop. Towards the end of the first round the team scored two wins in succession and you could see their self-belief lift and as a result a change in the way they approached games. As we faced the top teams we saw improved results over the next two rounds of the competition. With games only being lost by a single goal and two draws achieved during the round. In the last round of the competition the team went out each week to enjoy their soccer and had some close results. Unfortunately we were unable to get any wins and as a result the team finished last on the ladder and will return to division two next year. To all the players thank you for putting in each week in what we all knew was going to be a tough season. If you approach your soccer in that way in 2012 you could well win the division again. Due to being sent overseas for eight weeks during the season a special thank you has to go to Nathan McKneight. Nathan took on the challenge of looking after the team and put a lot of energy into the task at hand. The team, parents, manager and myself send a huge thank you for all your effort and the contribution you made to the team this year. To Nicole and Tracy thank you for also shouldering additional tasks in my absence. Thanks once again to all involved in the team this year and I hope to see you all back in 2012. Nicole and I would also like to thank all the parents that turned up every week, I know the boys really appreciated the support and welcome the positive recognition that you all provide each week to them. You should all be very proud of yourselves and deserve a big round of applause. Thank you David Hamilton Coach

Manager: Annette Turner Coach: Brent Bertolissio Assistant Coach: Tino Zuzul Despite a challenging year in terms of injuries, key players leaving mid-season and the sudden and tragic passing away of Cheryl Cashel (Cameron’s mother), the boys showed great courage, rallied together and were competitive in every match we played this year. No doubt we would have finished much higher in the competition ladder had it not been for the injuries that plagued us throughout the season. Frequently we were left with 9-10 players and had to source players from the U13’s, U14’s or U15’s just to make up the numbers - a big ask when playing in first division. However we acquitted ourselves well and the boys can look back on the season with pride knowing they did their best despite the obvious obstacles. What I found refreshing was that the boys had a knack of turning discouragement into encouragement and they seemed to enjoy the experience along the way – which highlights the positive attitude that permeated throughout the team. I really enjoyed working with the boys - they are a great bunch of teenagers! I would like to thank and recognise the efforts of both Brent and Annette who worked tirelessly on behalf of the team. I know the boys and parents appreciated your efforts. Thank you to all the parents who helped out throughout the year and the players from lower ages/grades who stepped up when assistance was required. Finally, to the Club and committee members who work behind the scenes to make things happen – thank you as well. I’m sure we can all draw on fond memories of yet another season which has come and gone – too quickly. I sincerely wish the players, parents and everyone else well for the future. Regards, Tino (Assistant Coach)

"Everything changes and nothing remains still... and... you cannot step twice into the same stream." Heraclitus of Ephesus Perhaps it was the season the team had to have. Maybe it was just a case that the streak of luck which had served the team so well in the past few seasons had run dry. Then again, perhaps there were a few too many ‘tired’ bodies and minds in the side. Alternatively, it’s a case of re-viewing the season as a Socratic allegory: the question is the answer, so to speak. As an observer, it was quite clear that all but two games were there for the taking and the final position on the ladder certainly belied the talent within the team. On a pleasing note, the finish to the season was probably the most relaxed the side had been for a long time; perhaps the random selection of field positions needed to begin at the outset of the season. In the spirit of doing some justice to each individual, a personalised comment for each follows: Jamie Alcalde: Adopted a more aggressive persona this season resulting in some ‘sabbaticals’ from his playing duties. Still possesses strong vision and direction in the midfield and the ability to penetrate the defence with his decisive passing. He stepped up in the home game against Picton when his first 15 minutes set the tone for the rest of the match. Formed an inseparable bond with that Kiwi interloper; a shame his comedic ability didn’t improve any! Jack Bennett: Player of the year. Consistent. Reliable. Calm under pressure. It is hard to fault Jack’s effort and continual ability to do his job effectively. Of all players, he deserved far better results from the season’s effort. Playing two years up, attending training and playing when injured, adopting a no-nonsense, no-excuse approach to each match: all of these aspects were simply impressive. A great team player. Christopher Buxton: Ignoring his poor taste in NRL teams, Chris acquitted himself with aplomb as goalkeeper. Easily the most accomplished keeper in the division and certainly kept many games alive for the side with his superb reflexes. Another one who deserved better results from the season, ‘Ranga’ presents with an air of indifference that masks a clear passion for the game and for performing to his best. It was great to see him called into All Age during the final series; by all accounts his prowess in goals contributed strongly to his adopted side’s grand final victory. Nathan Dumont: Scored, arguably, the two best goals of the season; in particular, the opportunist strike at Picton a stand out. Relished being captain late in the season and played all year with a happy-go-lucky demeanour. Probably played his best game in the State Cup against Liverpool and was unlucky not to have scored more than his punishing equaliser in this game. To boot, he is just a genuinely nice young man to have as part of the team. However, he does need to deal with his obsession for Manchester City. Tevez just isn’t that good, Nathan!

Christopher Goddard: It seemed the bigger the game the tougher the service the team received from ‘God’. His defence against Gunners at Bensley Road was memorable, his nonchalant persona masking a villainous disposition when it came to halting attacking raids. Evidently, he is attracted to sophist thinking and perhaps that elusive goal is destined to exist as an apriori occurring only in the imagination. Hmmm … that’d mean ‘defenders can score goals’. Zachary Grant: Always smiling and played each match with a happy demeanour. Zac utilised a highly entertaining throw- in, resulting in much amusement for the bench, earned the ire of some bemused match officials and led to one great goal. Zac has plenty of pace and plays better when he uses controlled aggression to harass opposition defenders. Zac was another welcome addition to the team whose friendly personality frames a healthy attitude to sport. Sean Hillier: Unfortunately, Sean played on the occasions when work commitments would allow. He certainly added rigour to the defence and his presence allowed for more variation in the playing structure. It wasn’t without accident that in each game that Sean participated, the side was level on the scoreboard at the point of his departure for work. An asset to any team, Sean would be looking forward to a more extensive playing in the future. Neil Hunt: I wondered, at times, whether he and Alcalde had drunk from the same well pre-season such was the aggressive edge Neil brought with him this season. Just ask the defender from Picton! (No, mum, I didn’t see a thing either!) Often adopted demi-cameo roles in various positions but is most comfortable on the right side of attack where his determined style of play comes to the fore. Always politely spoken, Neil always brings a lighter side to the occasion. Arien Judge: Had a few runs out of defence this season and displayed a renewed capacity to work within the attacking formation when he did so. Adopts the sagacious view that you play to your limitations and ‘what is in front of you’; as a result, he exhibits a low risk mode of operation that isn’t full of flare but neither is it riddled with errors. Perhaps this was best demonstrated with his musings on to how to stop the infamous Gunner’s striker. Zachary Marshall: At home games came equipped with his own entourage of supporters who sat behind the goals in awe at ‘Ozzy’s’ punishing efforts each game. Zac was equally adept at shoring up the defence with DJ or at offering a vigorous element to the attack. The consummate team player who will stand next to his team mates even at the cost to his own well -being. Zac played a top game against Gunners mid-season, and he scored a few robust goals including a bullet like strike against arch rivals St Mary’s. Luke Milburn: Where’s Luke? This seemed like a regular question come game day. I guess one benefit was the range of apocryphal stories that did the rounds as to Luke’s whereabouts. It was quite an impressive array of activities in which he apparently engaged! Still, Luke is one of the most affable young men to have in a sporting team and always plays with a desire to contribute favourably to the team cause. Daniel Rodriguez: An asset to the side as central defender; a player whom other teams recognise as tough and impenetrable. DJ acquitted himself with aplomb all season despite being on the receiving end of deliberate irritation by ‘well-known’ opponents. DJ ventured up-field on more than one occasion during the year, claiming two offside goals

in the process. A hard worker, DJ also enjoyed a relatively injury free season. A pleasure to coach. Nathan Rogers: Worked hard in every match and scored some cracking goals too. Become infamous amongst the opposition teams as ‘that big scary guy we don’t want to tackle’. If only they knew he missed games after getting his hair cut like Justin Bieber! Many times he made searching runs down the right edge of the field that deserved more immediate reward. Perhaps he needed to be a little more selfish in front of goals; indeed, when he was, he invariably scored with some high quality finishes. Jamie Smith: Enjoyed the freedom of the movement out of defence and was one player whose game improved as the season wore on. The combination on the right with Nathan in the State Cup deserved far better reward than was realised; however, Jamie’s attitude throughout the season reflected the sportsmanship and personal integrity with which he carries himself. Never has much to say but when you adopt an uber-pragmatism you just let your actions do the talking. James Staines: Possesses a deep seated instinct for the game which is often portrayed through an uncanny ability to read the game, particularly in defence. Plays tenaciously, sometimes in a high risk manner, yet always aims to give his best for the team. Made the profound observation, early in the season, that ‘we get a lot of cards, don’t we?’ Tried to hide early in the season when the mighty Ipswich Town knocked over his precious Arsenal. Didn’t Arsenal also lose to Birmingham, James? TJ Tallar: TJ possesses a consistent attitude to training and the game which is marked by a desire for personal and collective best. TJ lived the frustration of the immediate on field results more than others which simply affirmed his passion for the game. His end of season form was excellent, through which he exhibited an attitude built on serving the team cause. TJ played his best football as the pivot between attack and midfield as this allowed his strong ball skills to be of benefit.

This team was formed from the Under 16 Girls team from 2010. The majority of the team were still eligible to play under 16’s again this season but decided to stay together as a team and play Under 18’s with the couple of girls that would not have been eligible to play with them again this year. This team welcomed the challenge of playing Under 18’s this year and approached the season with great enthusiasm. As the season progressed we watched this team grow in confidence and the results followed. In the second and third round of the competition this team managed to beat all the teams above them on the ladder with the exception of one. This lead to a thrilling finish to the season with our chance at the finals ceasing on the last weekend of the season. To all the girls thank you for a great season. You all grew in confidence, skills and self-belief during the season and this has prepared you well to take on the challenge again in 2012. To Hector Cerda and Val Rodriguez a special thank you for stepping in a looking after the team while I was away due to work commitments. The team and I are extremely appreciative to you both. It has been an absolute pleasure to coach this team in 2011 and their enthusiasm is absolutely infectious. The girls ranged in age from 14 to 18 and all got on very well which showed on the field. Hopefully they all will be back in 2012 and I look forward to coaching them again. Debbie and I would also like to thank all the parents that turned up every week, I know the girls really appreciated the support and welcome the positive recognition that you all provide each week to them. You should all be very proud of yourselves and deserve a big round of applause. Thank you David Hamilton Coach

Lots of blood and tears from the Coach. At times a frustrating year, mainly due to raging testosterone, however it should be looked back on as a very successful year with a few” If only’s” possibly being the difference between being premiers and semi-finalists, with inexperience and at times a lack of discipline proving costly. With the average age of only 18 ½ and put together at the last moment the team should be proud of their achievements throughout the year as they learnt much more than they realise. Every field player was able to score a goal with seven goals coming from players in the fullback position, a very rare achievement in senior football and duly supported by Brenton McKneight in goals. I certainly hope all players use their experience to better themselves in the future not forgetting the opportunity to create friendships which can last a life time. Many thanks to the parents and friends, to Rhonda and Karen for their assistance and Dave Sunderland manager. Kind Regards Ross Calman

All Age Ladies Division 1 2011 PLACE

Coach David Smirthwaite. Dave was up for the task this year of coaching Ladies Div 1. Took them through 24 hard fought matches to win the minor premiership. Thanks so much Dave, we had a run on Grand Final day at Wests and while the outcome was not what we had hoped for, Dave has been dedicated to the girls and was always there. Also had a run in Champion of Champions. Ingleburn Eagles has never had a woman’s side in before and we were (in the words of April) “only one puddle away from victory”. His coaching ability is legendary. Representation: City\Country- Amanda Lauric and Gemma Bradford represented Ingleburn for the first time ever. They were great and made a difference. Fastest Woman in Macarthur: Gemma Bradford and Amy Fennell. All was going well for Amy until a blade of grass interfered! Fantastic girls. Hopefully we will be there at both events next year, Amy will fly again and Gemma won’t have to make a leap of faith over her. Before the wheels fell off. Fly Girls: Amy and Gemma

Gemma Bradford and Amanda Lauric City/Country 2011

Newbie’s: Rosi (Carmen Cueva)and Amy Fennell (Elastic legs) joined the team from St Mary’s Eaglevale this year. Fantastic additions both of them. Amy strengthened up our backs and has a great slide tackle. Rosi strengthened up our midfield and shows some serious talent with the ball at her feet. Gemma Bradford achieved a woman’s Club record twice! Six goals in a match. Gemma is so strong at the front. Gem’s twin Kerrie Lowe joined the team in June after having a baby. Very strong in the backs and also strengthened up our midfield, big voice too and calls the play well. April Webster is a find. She scores from her feet and in the air. Loves the midfield and loves finding the ball. Gemma, April and Kerrie came to us from The Picton Club and all 5 girls settled well into the team. We look forward to the magic next year that all 5 gave the team this year. Brook Turvey (Turvey): Needs a confidence boost our Turvey. Shows she has very good ability at training and has a direct kick on goal. Killer smile. Se ya next and put one in cause you can! Sarah Tabbaa (Parchy): Had it tough all year with a knee injury. Parchy will always be in my team because she is another one I’d hate to play against. Fantastic midfielder. Great at switching play. Jacquelyn McCarvil (Jack): The terrier. Annoys the hell out of all opposition at the back. Nips their heals and never stops till she has forced an error or obtained the ball. Great work Jack but GET YOUR EYES DONE. Melissa Guiquy (G - Coco): The other in my mind that is most improved. G can run that sideline and skin em! Practiced kicking the ball ball into the box and made it happen when we needed it. Raised money for Diabetes in the City to Surf run this year. Great club girl. Katherine Radcliff (Kate): Another one with a great side tackle. Rivers of blood flow from Kate because she is always challenging on coming players who want to score. Kate always gets up when injured. Strikers fear her. Sarah Davies (Lil Sar): Sar had a personally challenging year this year. She proved however time and time again that she is one of the best stoppers in this district. All good things will come for you again Sar and that will be next year when you come back. Bridget Rogers (Kiwi): Came to us from the mighty Under 18 girls. Kiwi has a great future in this club and has cemented a place in AAL 1. She is well trained and very talented. Eric the Eagle (Dominic): You rock Eric. Much loved by the Eagles Club. Thanks for it all Dom. J- Dog The Water Girl: You rock J-Dog. H2O Go! A big THANKS to our sponsor ACCCO for your on going support. Thanks to our Club President for all your support for the team this year again. Thanks to Sharnie, Jodie, Val and Angela for coming and helping out. Angie played Champions of Champions on that terrible wet day in the swimming pool and played well. Thanks to the Executive and Committee for keeping everything well organised. Thanks again to our sideline friends, Mums and Dads, love ones, Grandparents and Dave’s kids without your support from that line we are speechless. Thanks to all who attended the Grand Final, we’ll be there next year and the Champion of Champions match on a very wet day. Thanks Betty canteen is well run as always. Great year Angels, thanks for having me.

ALL AGE LADIES 2. PLACE

AAnnggiiee - is our centre mid & Coach. Never stops running. Hell of a kick and always has numerous players on her and still ends up with the ball. Didn't score as many goals this year but there was not many that she did not assist with. Very inspiring person to watch. EEllllyyssee - (gurt) is our stricker. Lots of heart for the game. Great speed and lots of great shots. Unfortunately she got injured during the second round and had to settle for adviser/coaching. JJeennnniiffeerr - is our left mid fielder. Has the most guts and fight and a very strong player. This is Jennifer’s first year with us and we would all love for her to come back and play with us next year. JJooddiiee - is our mid fielder / stopper. One he'll of a kick and has no fear of getting that ball. I wouldn't want to be the opposition going up against her. Ps Great to c u finally found your left foot, works great hey. KKaattee - is our left / right mid fielder. Great effort and always willing to achieve. Great defender when working on the back line. KKaatthhlleeeenn - (great Kate) is our right mid fielder. This is Kates first year with us and I am so pleased she is on our side. Great improvement all year. KKeeiirraa - is our left back / stopper. Is never tired and never gives up. Hell of a kick and the speed. I know she can catch anyone. KKyymm - is our stopper. She is one tough lady, will not stop even when she is hurt or down. She is our oldest player in the team with the youngest heart and can still keep up to those 18 year olds. RRhhoonnddaa - is our right back and she is as fast as she is feisty, she is like a little machine. Never gives up or backs out. SSaallllyy - is our centre mid - feisty but fair. Strong defender and always gets the ball. Thanks for our half time energy food (red frogs). SShhaalleeiigghh - every position / goalie - pocket rocket. Never gives up and fights for the ball. Great goal in the grand final. SShhaarrnniiee - is our striker of the team, and the most goal scorer. She has great speed and can out run nearly all the opposition. She has the ability to outsmart the opposition with her skills and techniques. SShheerreeee - our goalie. This is the best year I have seen her play. Will not stop until she gets that ball. Great job and effort. It was great to see you get down and dirty this year. SStteepphhaanniiee - is our stricker who returned from maternity leave. She came back harder than ever. We are glad your back and great goals this year. TTeeggaann - is our right back. She has mastered the slide tackles. Best right back I have ever had and everyone always knows that Tegan is there to back us up. VVaalleerriiee - is the sweeper. Is our captain and was a great one at that. In one of our games she had to be asked to leave the field before she got sent off by the ref, she had to go to the canteen to cool off and put her head in the fridge, but she had a great year and played her best all year. TTrraaccyy ((hhooddggoo)) - our manager. Great support and organization skills. We would have not been so organized without you. Thank you very much. KKaarrll - our biggest number one supporter. Never missed a game wouldn't leave the field in an Ambo before watching the game, not even a heart attack could stop him. Many thanks see you next year. Thanks to everyone for a great season. We were told by several people in the beginning of the season that we would not even make the semis this year with a team like ours. Well guess what a team that started 4 years ago in division 5 came runners up in division 2. Many thanks to Stephanie Rodriguez and Tarj Taller from the 18 girls for helping us in the finals. See you all next year.
