Magazine advert • Have a popular figure in the background that will be good to endorse the product
and will suit the type of person that you are likely to see consuming the product. • Use the colour scheme from IRN-BRU i.e. blue and orange.• A large image of the product clearly showing the label on the right hand page.• Small amount of copy.• Double page spread• Idea 2• “Go on you know you want to, IRN-BRU 32”• Idea 2• Scots doing a tug of war in kilts one side drinking IRN-BRU 32 winning the other
side without then a big pool of IRN-BRU in the middle for the losers to fall into.
Packaging
• Idea 1• Do the label landscape on the can like the official IRN-BRU product.• Use the IRN-BRU colours.• Include an image of the IRN-BRU 32 bird on the can as an added USP that other
cans don’t have, giving it that playful aspect.• Emphasize the ‘32’ in order to set it apart from the other varieties of the product.• Single page display.• Idea 2• Have a silver can with orange and blue text. Could be used for diet versions of the
drink.• someone kicking a football from far back and it appearing to be coming out of the
can with “32” written on the ball as it goes in the net. This opens up the possibility to other sports and possibly a series of different cans encouraging people to collect them.
Web banner• Idea 1• Two cans either side of the banner pouring IRN-BRU 32 into the centre of the
space and having IRN-BRU 32 written in the liquid.• Idea 2• Two cans of IRN-BRU 32 unraveling like scrolls across the top of the page with the
text written in the banner.
