The DC Series filters were designed as general-purpose linefilters for DC applications. They are available with or withoutcircuit breakers for extra protection and with feed-throughcapacitors for added performance (contact your local Alliedsales representative for more information). This series wasdeveloped in response to the increasing demand for DCfiltering in the telecom-datacom market. They can also beused at the primary input of the DC power supply. The DCSeries is designed to comply with UL 1283, CSA 22.2 No.8and EN60950. The DA Series is UL Recognized and CSACertified. Hipot Rating (1 Minute): Line-to-Ground —2,250 VDC; Line-to-Line — 1,450 VDC.

Corcom DB Series — Compact RFI Power Line Filters with DC Inlet Connection

TE Connectivity has expanded the Corcom product line with a new power inlet filter. Available in four levels of filtering and an unfiltered version, these inlets are designedto accept up to 60 amps of current at 150 VDC (UL/CSA) and 120 VDC (TÜV) in the filtered versions and 300 VAC or VDC in the unfiltered version. Filtered versionsinclude the basic clean-up DBJ style through the higher performing DB style and DBX style which provides up to 68 dB insertion loss within the 150 kHz to 30 MHzfrequency range. The DBF style uses feedthrough capacitors for improved high-frequency performance.

Power input terminals are TE Connectivity #4 AWG Elcon “drawer style” contacts. The filters load sides come prewired with #6 AWG hi-flex stranded wire. The unfilteredplugs and receptacles are available with pre-terminated, hi-flex wire of various lengths.
