ANTÍGENOS TUMORALES
Pocos antígenos tumorales son exclusivos de células tumorales
Factor de crecimiento transferrina = p97
Una célula normal expresa menos de 8000 moléculas de p97
Las del melanoma expresan entre 50 000 y 500 000 moléculas de p97 por célula.
Se ha clonado el gen que codifica el factor p97 y se creó una vacuna de virus de la viruela bovina recombinante que porta el gen clonado.
