REACH is a European Union regulation adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from risks that can be caused by chemicals. It also promotes alternative methods for the hazard assessment of substances in order to reduce the number of tests on animals.

The symbol appears on products and services that distinguish themselves by providing clear environmental benefits over other comparable products or services. Used primarily in Germany and is considered the world’s most well-established eco-label. The organisation’s requirements and guidelines are highly regarded in Europe.

Production


The art of producing affordable, high-quality polyethylene products lies in advanced production methods. We continuously invest in new machines and processes so that we can always remain at the forefront, and we buy raw materials of the highest quality.

Our latest addition is another t-shirt bag making machine from Swedish FAS, which provides us with even more capacity both in terms of rolling and the manufacture of t-shirt bags or carrier bags.

During 2019-2020, we plan to expand our production capacity to more than 400 metric tons/month. All to meet your needs and to deliver your goods on time.

Our environmentalwork

In our production of plastic products, an environmental mindset is a matter of course. Using recyclable as well as recycled materials is important – without skimping on quality. That’s why it is crucial for us, our subcontractors and our customers to have a common view of plastics.We put much effort into manufacturing products that have low water and energy consumption and as little carbon dioxide emissions as possible during production.In fact, we can estimate the environment benefits from using recycled products. Carbon dioxide emissions are reduced by about 2 kg for each 1 kg of recycled polyethylene compared with production using the same quantity of non-recycled raw materials, and crude oil consumption is also reduced by 1 litre.

Frost is the name of our freezer bag range. A roll of Frost freezer bags comes packed in a

HDPE is sometimes called crinkly plastic, and is often made thinner than a corresponding product in LDPE because the material itself is very strong.

Most of our refuse sacks are part of the STRONG range, and all are made from recycled

materials. Using recycled materials during manufacturing while maintaining a high quality

GlossaryPE can be considered as an entire family of thermoplastics, with everything from the softer quality LDPE (low-density polyethylene) to the stiffer HDPE (high-density polyethylene). It is thus the density – how densely packed the molecule chains are – which distinguishes the different types of polyethylene.

HDPE stands for high-density polyethylene and is produced at such as low pressure that the polymer chains have time to form into straight chains. This means that they then pack themselves tightly together, and the material becomes stiff. The material becomes very strong in relation to its thickness and is perceived as “crinkly”.

LDPE stands for low-density polyethylene. In contrast to HDPE, it is manufactured at high pressure, and the ethylene molecules have high energy and move around a lot. The reaction results in polymer chains that are highly branched and that cannot pack together easily due to space restrictions. LDPE thus is softer and more suitable for making packaging films and carrier bags.

LLDPE stands for linear low-density polyethylene, and is a modification of LDPE that enables additional uses. It has an even distribution of uniform, short-chain branchings that can be produced under lower pressure. It is therefore stronger and tougher than regular LDPE.

MDPE stands for medium-density polyethylene. It can be produced directly or as a mixture of HDPE and LDPE, and is therefore an intermediate between the two polyethylenes.

Coex stands for co-extrusion. In co-extrusion, multiple layers having different properties are extruded at the same time. This can, for example, be used to produce a bag with unique properties such as a smooth outside surface and rough inside surface.

Die-cut bags are completely ordinary bags with a punched-out handle in the bag itself.

Patch handle bags have reinforced die-cut handles, and usually an extra patch of LDPE is added to the bag’s inside for extra strength.

Food-grade plastic is a highly clean PE plastic that is safe for food contact. Food-grade material helps to reduce health risks if the packaging material itself ends up in the food. Read more about this on the National Food Agency’s website at www.slv.se.

Convenient and easy to handle, Wrappy Strappy is a stretchable polyethylene strap. Wrappy Strappy can be stretched around a pallet without resistance, stays on nice and tight, and keeps your products in place during transit. The band is very strong and can withstand stresses that ordinary pallet bands simply cannot. Wrappy Strappy comes in a dispenser carton on a roll of 100.

Our eco-film is a popular alternative in construction and renovation protection. Our customers appreciate that our eco-film combines the environmental friendliness of 100% recycled PE with desirable properties like good transparency – unlike many other films, our films let the light in.

Shrink films

When you need protection for extra-tough environments, or if you need a completely transparent film, then our shrink films make the right choice. Available in several different widths and sizes. We also offer smaller rolls that are extra easy to handle thanks to their compact size.

All T-shirt bags are manufactured in 100% recycled materials.

Ageing-resistant film

Construction film in ageing-resistant polyethylene for use as air and vapour barriers on the ceiling or floor. SITAC-approved by RISE, with technical approval symbol printed on the film. UV and alkali stabilised.
