On September 20, 1992, a young quarterback by the name of Brett Favre wascalled upon to replace the injured Don Majkowski. In only his second game asa Packer, Favre led a fourth-quarter comeback with two touchdown passes,including the game winner to wide receiver Kitrick Taylor.

Quarterback Brett Favre threw five interceptions against the Bengals onOctober 30, 2005 at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati; however, the Green BayPackers still had an opportunity to tie the game in the fourth quarter. Trailing bya touchdown, Favre tried to engineer a game- tying score when a fan ran ontothe field and created one of the most bizarre moments in NFL history bystealing the ball directly from Favre’s hands.

After receiver Chad “Ochocinco” proceeded to do a Lambeau leap after histhird quarter touchdown, this 2009 showdown between the Bengals andPackers got even more interesting late in the fourth quarter. Green Bay kicked afield goal with under a minute to play to cut the Cincinnati lead to 31-24. Afterthe Bengals failed to recover the ensuing onside kick, quarterback AaronRodgers led the Packers all the way to the Cincinnati 10-yard line. With notimeouts left and the clock running, Green Bay failed to get a final snap off,negating any possibility of a game- tying touchdown.

In the first ever meeting between these two teams, the Packers ran for 256rushing yards, with tailback John Brockington accounting for 120 of those yards.The game was played on October 3, 1971 in Green Bay.

Despite losing defensive end Reggie White in this game to a hamstring injury,the Packers beat the Bengals on December 3, 1995 at Lambeau Field. BrettFavre paved the way for Green Bay with 339 passing yards and threetouchdowns.
