Quarterback Brett Favre threw five interceptions against the Bengals onOctober 30, 2005 at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati; however, the Green BayPackers still had an opportunity to tie the game in the fourth quarter. Trailing bya touchdown, Favre tried to engineer a game- tying score when a fan ran ontothe field and created one of the most bizarre moments in NFL history bystealing the ball directly from Favre’s hands.

Green Bay kicked afield goal with under a minute to play to cut the Cincinnati lead to 31-24. Afterthe Bengals failed to recover the ensuing onside kick, quarterback AaronRodgers led the Packers all the way to the Cincinnati 10-yard line. With notimeouts left and the clock running, Green Bay failed to get a final snap off,negating any possibility of a game- tying touchdown.
