Golf Shop News – May 2015 As the season draws to a close, I would like to send each of you a very special and personal thank you from me, Ben, Pat and every member of the Golf Staff. We hope you enjoyed this past season as much as we did; and we certainly look forward to having all of you back next season if not before! To those of you brave enough to stick around into the summer months, Reciprocal Season begins May 1st with select area clubs. Click the link below to view or print the 2015 Reciprocal List. As in the past, we ask that any members looking to take advantage of the Reciprocal program fill out our ‘Reciprocal Request Form’ and submit it to the Golf Shop at least 2 days (up to 7 days) in advance of the day you wish to play. Keep in mind, reciprocal clubs will be very busy, so the more information you can give to us on your Request Form, the better your chances of securing a tee time at one of these fine clubs. Please be flexible and broad on your time-frame as we will not book a time that is outside your requested window. We may have vast golf knowledge…but we cannot be expected to predict what time is too early or too late for you or your group. Haha - A little summertime humor for those of you keeping track at home. Tennis players, thanks for the warm welcome as I help out a couple days a week in the interim. I want to thank you all for your patience as we search for a Director of Tennis that will fit your needs here at Treviso Bay. Meanwhile, we have a few improvements that have been made. The ball machine has been fixed and now has new tennis balls in it. We will be keeping the ball machine court locked up after pro shop hours. We now have an online court reservation system for tennis as well. If you have not signed up yet, go to makeclubreservations.com, click “create a new member account”, choose “annual” membership type, facility code is “Treviso1” which is case sensitive. If you want to sign up a guest, they can click “guest” and the facility code for the guests is “Treviso2”, you can ignore seasonal and monthly membership types as we do not offer those. We have added many items to the Tennis Pro Shop as well, including grips, strings, tennis balls, accessories, and more. Stringing services are still provided as well. Congratulations to yourselves as the Treviso Bay Tennis facility has been named “Distinguished new facility of the year” for 2014, by Tennis Industry Magazine. Also a big thanks to Bud and Elliot for helping out in the interim process as well. As a personal friend of Shawn’s as well, I know I join all of you in wishing him all the future successes and well wishes at his new venue at the World Tennis Club in Naples. Shawn did an outstanding job at creating excitement and activity here at Treviso Bay and his enthusiasm and personality will be missed.
