The newest addition to Seminyak’s hub of wining and dining, URCHIN – Grill & Raw Bar offers a modern Australian style of seafood and more!
An entire menu at the “Raw Bar” and a large part of the entrees in the main dining room is devoted to raw dishes from coral trout carpaccio with fennel pollen, dill oil and broccoli, tuna tartare with soy, mirin, caviar and enoki mushrooms, house cured salmon pastrami, cones of hamichi and the name’s sake egg!
Into the main course, you will find the likes of crispy barramundi, braised romaine and mushroom consommé, bread crusted mahi mahi with roasted almonds and the surprise…a mouthwatering fillet of beef with caramelized onion and mulled wine jus – for those not partial to the oceanic menu.
Service is aimed at professional and personalized but fun. The wine list is concise with emphasis on light whites and champagne, and why not?
The room gives you a feeling of being in someone’s large seaside holiday house – complete with a fully exposed kitchen where everything is on show. The interiors are very textural and organic from the recycled wood tables, to the tableware, suspended wooden light beams, copper urchins…Touch Me! Feel Me! for the grownups.
Set to be the type of place you meet for lunch and wonder where the night went!
Corner House, which is located at the end of Oberoi street is a resuscitated restaurant. Couple years ago, the restaurant was former known as Corner Store.
It seems that Corner House will be as popular as the Corner Shop. The owners of Corner House, a well-known fashion designer Magali Pacal and a photographer Matt Neville improves the interior and menus of the restaurant. They also added a second floor to welcome more customers who wants to have lunch and dinner. For those who have visited The Bistrot or The Petitenget, they will feel familiar with the interior at the Corner House. The menus served in the restaurants are also one that familiar on your palate.

CORNER HOUSE
Olive used to be a choice for a fine dining with its white linen and chandeliers. This summer, the restaurant has reinvented itself as a more laid-back chic all day restaurant with the new charming eclectic décor. Both outdoor and indoors seating are available. Customers can sit indoor near the salad bar or outdoor near the bar whilst enjoying the vibe of Seminyak.
Even though Olive got transformed, but they don’t leave their delightful dinner menu such as their roasted rump of lamb or crispy confit duck leg. The Mediterranean lunch and fulfilling breakfast are the best choice to kick off the day. The entire menus are served alongside bespoke yet refreshing beverages that help you to tame down the Balinese summer heat.
This restaurant serves excellent ambiance, food and beverages, but also allows you to pay the price you think is suitable for each of the meal. Only a walking distance from W Retreat & Spa Bali - Seminyak, make sure to drop by at Olive.
Healthy and relaxing, that’s what Café Cous Cous is all about. Located in green and breezy umalas, the café serves a delicious healthy menu for breakfast and lunch. Combined with the unique middle- eastern interior, the café makes for a perfect hang out venue. The menus provided are fresh and made from organic ingredients. For the coffee, they use F.R.E.A.K coffee. It’s delivered fresh every second day, the coffee beans grinded in less than 48 hour.
Various salads and dishes are served to start the day or refuel the energy. Raw Beetroot Salad, hummus, Black Rice & Avocado salad and tabouli salad are just few choices in Café Cous Cous. The healthy café grabs people’s attention. Setting host to the latest place to be seen.
