FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents,What an exciting Gala weekend! I hope that

all who came to the Gala, ate, danced, talked, raffled, bid and donated had as wonderful a time as I did. It was a fabulous celebration of our entire IHM Community. Many thanks are in order (see the box to the right!) for all of the hard work to put it together. I will keep you updated with the final numbers that the Gala raised for the parish and school.

Lent is here this week, with the “Seal the Alleluias” prayer service, and Ash Wednesday mass with the students. Each week at 8:30 on Friday the 1-8th grades will attend Stations of the Cross (PK & K will attend every other week) -this is taking the place of Lenten Prayer Services that we have done in the past. You are always welcome to join us each week during this time of fasting, giving, and prayer.

The first fish fry of the year is this Friday, February 16th. If you aren't volunteering, make sure you come to support the Home & School Association and eat some of the best fish in Dane County! Take-out starts at 4:30, and dine-in at 5:00. Hope to see you there!

Now that priority enrollment for IHM school families and parishioners is over, I would like to say thank you to the 94% of all of our families that have registered for next year. Even though priority registration is over, it is not too late to enroll your student for next year if you have not yet. Or, if you know a family that is looking for a quality school, please tell them IHM is registering, and have them call for a tour. Word of mouth is our most successful advertising!

Catholic Schools provide a firm foundation for the growth and development of your child. Pray for a year filled with faith and learning. Let us be a community of service to one another and to our world.

donation of $735.78! Thanks for all of those pennies! The 4th Grade won the challenge

with 1060 points, and earned an icecream sandwich party!
