Installation Guideline of Aerosol Generators to Kardex remstar Filing System
“Shuttle XP - Sigma XT”
For the kit installation and system commission please find here below the following guidelines.
Step 1: Identify the Kit components as indicated in schematic drawing on figure 1.
Step 2: Identify the locations of each component for installation as indicated in the schematic drawing on figure 2.
Step 3: Identify the route of both Linear Heat Detector Cables that must be followed for the protection of the various sections of the machine, as indicated in the schematic drawing on figure 3.
Step 4: Identify the wire connections of various accessories like detectors, warning devices, sequential activators, aerosol generators, testing lamps that must be interconnected to the panel terminals, as indicated in the schematic drawing on figure 4 and 5.
Step 5: The installation of the various aerosol generators and Linear Heat Detector Cables in various sections of the machine, are indicated in the schematic drawing on figure 6.
Step by step process, on cable connections to aerosol generators, is indicated on page 9 and 10.
Step 6: For the commissioning of the system please follow the guidelines indicated in the attached logbook.
Step 7: For more information regarding the extinguishing panel, please see the attached panel operation and Maintenance manual.

the connector within housing while
turning by hand the activator cable
housing (part 1) with activator cable
housing (part 2).

By using two spanner keys Connect
