Provided Parts List

The components have been packed to avoid damage during transit. Inspect the components to confirm there is no physical damage. Do not install damaged components. The carton contains the following:

Optimo Direct(OPTD) fixture

Mounting Brackets and Hardware (may be attached to fixture depending on mounting type)

Lens

Installation Manual

Mounting

Inspect mounting location for damage. Make sure the structure can support the weight of the OPTD fix-ture. Follow all UL, NEC and minimum load rating guidelines when selecting and installing mounting hard-ware for the fixture.

Fixture Weights:

OPTD - 4’(10lbs. max) / 8’(20lbs. max)

Pendant Mount Instructions

Fixture will come with aircraft cable attached. Mount fixture to the structure and make the proper

connections. The Mounting height is adjusted at the canopy.

(Mounting accessories shown in contrasting color to provide detail. Fixtures are shipped with matching mounting accessories, unless specified otherwise.)

Wall Mount Instructions :

1. Mount the hole locations on wall by using cosmetic bezel as a reference (Fig.1)

2. Connect threaded pipe to the endcaps of the extrusion (Fig. 2)

3. Ensuring the surface can support the weight of the fixture, secure the outside portions of the brackets to the wall in the desired locations.

4. Slide the cosmetic bezel over the threaded pipe and Connect threaded pipe to the junction box plate using Hex nut provided to make a tight connection (Fig. 3)

5. After the electrical connections have been made, line up holes in junction box plate to the junction box and fasten securely (Fig. 4)

Wall Mount Instructions :

7. To mount non threaded side of fixture drill 5/8” diameter hole (Reference Fig.1) into the wall and also drill the pilot holes to mount junction box plate directly to the wall as shown in (Fig. 5)

8. Attach the brackets to the wall with the help of screws, taking the reference dimensions from the cosmetic bezel (Fig. 6)

9. Secure fixture in place and screw the cosmetic bezel with the help of screw provided (Fig. 7 )

Rotational Wall Mount Instructions :

1. Follow the same steps from the wall mount from 1 to 9

2. To rotate Fixture, Use Allen key to loosen set screw. The Fixture has an ability to rotate 360°. After the necessary rotation achieved, tighten set screw making a firm contact between endcap and fixture (shown in Fig. 8)

OPTIMO Direct Installation

Individual Fixture Installation

1. Power must be turned OFF prior to disconnecting or reconnecting the OPTD fixture

2. If fixture is not fitted with existing plug, connect fixture wiring to line side wires. Use only UL listed wiring devices. Purple and Gray leads are used for 0-10 dimming ONLY. Cap wires if not used (see below). Line side wiring connected by the installer must be rated for the load per (NEC) National Electric Code and/or local electric code. *

3. Restore power and verify operation.

*If your product is configured to have an EM circuit, EM Battery circuit or a sepa-rate circuit for dual switching, the above configuration will include an additional BLUE wire to be terminated on the additional circuit mains wiring.

Continuous Row Installation

1. Power must be turned OFF prior to disconnecting or reconnecting the OPTD fixture

2. Take out the snap in lens from the fixture

3. Identify different fixture types for each row

Starter Fixture: Cord on one side, male connector on the other side

Middle Fixture: Female connector on one side, male connector on the other side

End Fixture: Female connector on one side, closed end cap on the other side

Lensing: Lens will be provided with extrusion

4. Attach Starter Fixture to structure. Connect Starter Fixture wiring to line side wires. Use only UL listed wiring devices. Purple and Gray leads are used for 0-10 dimming ONLY. Cap wires if not used (see below). The wiring inside the fixtures is rated 14AWG. Line side wiring con-nected by the installer must be rated for the load per (NEC) National Electric Code and/or local electric code. *

5. Support Middle Fixture or End Fixture depending on row length

7. Connect wiring harness of fixture 1 to harness of fixture 2

8. Connect two fixtures together with the help of dowel pins to align, fastening fixtures to-gether with screws provided.

9. Snap lens in place to close the fixture

10. Repeat steps 4 through 8 for additional fixtures.

11. Restore power and verify operation.

OPTIMO Direct Driver Replacement

1. Power must be turned OFF prior to disassembly of the fixture

2. Remove three #6 flat head screws securing the LED reflector plate.

3. Remove LED reflector plate by rotating at the hinge point.

4. Remove two #6 nuts securing the driver.

5. Replace the driver and assemble the fixture by following steps from 4 to 1.
