With wildfire season upon us, thousands of homeowners across California will once again be exposed to dangerous weather conditions and power shutoffs. To combat this risk, California regulators have announced that they will direct over 500 million dollars in battery storage incentives to homeowners and businesses at high risk of impact through the Self Generation Incentive Program (SGIP).

In this Installer Guide, we simplify the 2020 SGIP Handbook to help you navigate the application and funding process to fully utilize available incentives. We’ve included practical tips and tools that you’ll need to leverage this opportunity to expand your customer base and help eligible homeowners tap into newly allocated funds.
