History

1899 -‐ Founda$on Founding of the Material Resistance Laboratory.

History

1934 – Law #6375 transforms the Material Resistance Laboratory into Ins1tute for Technological Research

1960 – Restructuring of technical areas and divisions focusing on engineering areas

1972 – IPT improves its rela$onship with industries: R&D&I contracts with private companies become more frequent

1976 – IPT becomes a public-‐private corpora$on with annual revenue targets.

2008-‐2012 – GESP invests US$ 34,7 million in laboratory moderniza$on program
