DescriptionThe Integra® Miltex® Integrator™ Chiropractic Adjusting Instrument is a hand-held device used for the purpose of adjustment of the Vertebral Subluxation Complex. The Integrator Chiropractic Adjusting Instrument is designed with a multidirectional force setting to allow the clinician to select axial, axial/counter clock-wise and axial/clockwise torsional force as well as tip-trigger for device activation.

Indications for UseThe Integra Miltex Integrator Chiropractic Adjusting Instrument is intended to adjust the cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacral, and coccygeal vertebrae subluxations, as well as adjustments of the ilium, and extremities.

ContraindicationsDo not use on: • Fractures • Soft tissues, such as: ◦ Eyes ◦ Testicles ◦ Ovaries ◦ Mammary glands ◦ Auditory canals

Warnings • This device is to be used specifically by a licensed Chiropractor

trained in Torque Release Technique®, and all usage and safety requirements specific for this instrument.

• DO NOT Sterilize. Sterilization may damage parts of the device. • DO NOT disassemble the device. No Lubrication is required. • DO NOT submerge or saturate the device with water or solvents. • DO NOT dry fire the device. This device must only be activated

with human surface contact; as failure to do so will lead to improper device function.

Precautions • Read the Instructions for Use and keep them in a safe place. • Use the product only in accordance with its intended use, see

INDICATIONS FOR USE. • Use of an instrument for a task other than that for which it is

intended could result in a damaged or broken instrument, or one which provides an unsatisfactory performance.

• Instruments should be handled and operated by personnel completely familiar with their use.

• Inappropriate use of instruments will lead to damage that is usually not repairable.

• Instruments must be thoroughly inspected upon receipt and prior to use to assure proper functioning. Failure to make a complete inspection to assure proper operation and function of instrument may result in unsatisfactory performance.

• Prior to each use, inspect the product for: loose, bent, broken, cracked, worn, or fractured components.

• Do not use the product if it is damaged or defective. • The surface and tips of the device may be cleaned by wiping

down with a surface disinfectant.

Instructions for UseThis device is to be used specifically by a licensed Chiropractor trained in Torque Release Technique®, and all usage and safety requirements specific for this instrument. 1. The directional force should be set to one of the three available

positions: axial, counter clockwise and axial or clockwise and axial. The selection is dependent upon the desired treatment to be administered. The setting selection is accomplished by turning the treatment end to align one of the three detents on the treatment end to the adjacent reference detent: center detent = axial, left detent = counterclockwise, right detent =clockwise.

2. The magnitude of the force is adjusted by turning the rear tension palm handle: clockwise increases the force and counter clockwise reduces the force.

3. The Integrator Chiropractic Adjustment Instrument is placed into the hand administering the treatment with the palm handle in the palm and the index and middle fingers grasping the clutch handle. The device is then cocked by pulling the clutch handle towards the palm of the hand. The instrument is ready for use.

4. While holding the center of the device between thumb and index finger, press the tip of the Integrator against the target treatment area to fire the instrument.

Note: The palm handle should not make contact with the user’s hand while firing the device, to avoid premature instrument failure.

Prior to use, the Integrator may be test fired onto a padded treatment table to determine if additional adjustments are needed to the device settings prior to patient use. It is not recommended to test fire the device on a hard surface or into the air as these actions may damage the internal mechanics of the device.

Returned Goods PolicyProducts must be returned in unopened packages with manufacturer’s seals intact to be accepted for replacement or credit unless returned due to a complaint of product defect. Determination of a product defect will be made by Integra.

Warranties and GuaranteesIn order to ensure warranties and guarantees, instruments in need of repair should be sent to Integra. Failure to follow these procedures will invalidate instrument’s warranty and can cause instrument to fail. Chiropractic Instruments have a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.

Repairs and MaintenanceShould your instruments require repair or maintenance, contact Integra for return authorization and address.

Mode d’emploiCe dispositif doit être utilisé spécifiquement par les chiropracteurs certifiés et formés à la technique Torque Release Technique®, ainsi qu’à l’utilisation et aux exigences de sécurité spécifiques à cet instrument. 1. La force directionnelle doit être réglée sur l’une des trois

positions disponibles : axiale, antihoraire et axiale ou horaire et axiale. La sélection dépend du traitement souhaité. Le réglage de la sélection s’effectue en tournant l’extrémité de traitement jusqu’à ce que l’une des trois encoches sur l’extrémité de traitement soit alignée sur l’encoche de référence adjacente : encoche centrale = axiale, encoche de gauche = antihoraire, encoche de droite = horaire.

2. L’amplitude de la force est ajustée en tournant la poignée de paume arrière qui contrôle la tension : tourner dans le sens horaire augmente la force, tandis que tourner dans le sens antihoraire diminue la force.

3. L’instrument d’ajustement chiropratique Integrator est placé dans la main qui administre le traitement, la poignée de paume étant placée dans la paume et l’index et le majeur saisissant la poignée d’embrayage. Le dispositif est ensuite armé en tirant la poignée d’embrayage en direction de la paume de la main. L’instrument est maintenant prêt à l’emploi.

4. En tenant le centre du dispositif entre le pouce et l’index, appuyer l’extrémité de l’Integrator contre la région à traiter pour déclencher l’instrument.

Remarque : La poignée de paume ne doit pas entrer en contact avec la main de l’utilisateur pendant le déclenchement du dispositif afin d’éviter l’échec prématuré de l’instrument.

Istruzioni per l’usoQuesto dispositivo deve essere usato specificamente da un chiropratico dotato di licenza e competente nella Torque Release Technique® e in tutti i requisiti d’utilizzo e di sicurezza specifici per questo strumento. 1. La forza direzionale deve essere impostata su una delle tre

posizioni disponibili: assiale, in senso antiorario e assiale o senso orario e assiale. La selezione dipende dal trattamento che si intende eseguire. Per selezionare l’impostazione, occorre ruotare l’estremità di trattamento per allineare uno dei tre denti di arresto sull’estremità di trattamento con il dente di riferimento adiacente: dente di arresto centrale = assiale, dente di arresto sinistro = senso antiorario, dente di arresto destro = senso orario.

2. La forza viene regolata ruotando l’impugnatura della tensione posteriore: in senso orario si aumenta la forza e in senso antiorario si riduce la forza.

3. Lo Strumento di aggiustamento chiropratico Integrator viene posizionato nella mano che esegue il trattamento con l’impugnatura nel palmo e con l’indice e il medio che afferrano la maniglia dell’innesto. Il dispositivo viene quindi armato tirando la maniglia dell’innesto verso il palmo della mano. lo strumento è così pronto per l’uso.

4. Tenendo il centro del dispositivo fra il pollice e l’indice, premere la punta dell’Integrator contro l’area target per attivare lo strumento.

Nota: l’impugnatura non deve entrare in contatto con la mano dell’utente durante l’attivazione del dispositivo, per evitare guasti prematuri.

Instrucciones de usoEste instrumento ha de ser usado específicamente por un quiropráctico autorizado para ejercer y capacitado en la técnica Torque Release Technique® y todos los requisitos de uso y seguridad específicos para este instrumento. 1. La fuerza direccional debe configurarse en una de las tres

posiciones disponibles: axial, en sentido antihorario y axial o en sentido horario y axial. La selección depende del tratamiento elegido para administrarse. La selección se configura haciendo girar el extremo de tratamiento para alinear uno de los tres fijadores en el extremo de tratamiento con el fijador de referencia adyacente: fijador central = axial, fijador izquierdo = en sentido antihorario, fijador derecho = en sentido horario.

2. La magnitud de la fuerza se ajusta haciendo girar el mango palmar posterior de tensión: en sentido horario aumenta la fuerza y en sentido antihorario reduce la fuerza.

3. El instrumento de ajuste quiropráctico Integrator se coloca en la mano que administrará el tratamiento con el mango palmar en la palma de la mano y los dedos índice y medio sujetando el mango de agarre. A continuación se carga el instrumento tirando del mango de agarre hacia la palma de la mano. El instrumento está listo para utilizarse.

4. Mientras se sujeta el centro del instrumento entre los dedos pulgar e índice, presionar la punta del Integrator contra el área de tratamiento para activar el instrumento.

GebrauchsanweisungDieses Gerät sollte speziell von einem zugelassenen Chiropraktiker verwendet werden, der in der Torque Release Technique®, den im für dieses Instrument spezifischen Umgang und den diesbezüglichen Sicherheitsanforderungen geschult ist. 1. Die Richtungskraft sollte auf eine der drei verfügbaren

Positionen eingestellt werden: Axial, gegen den Uhrzeigersinn und axial oder im Uhrzeigersinn und axial. Die Auswahl hängt von der gewünschten zu verabreichenden Behandlung ab. Die Einstellungsauswahl erfolgt durch Drehen des zur Behandlung dienenden Instrumentenendes, damit eine der drei Arretierungen am Instrumentenende auf die benachbarte Referenzarretierung ausgerichtet wird: Mittlere Arretierung = axial, linke Arretierung = gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, rechte Arretierung = im Uhrzeigersinn.

2. Die Stärke der Kraft wird durch Drehen des hinteren Spannungshandflächengriffs eingestellt: Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn erhöht die Kraft und Drehen gegen den Uhrzeigersinn verringert die Kraft.

3. Das Integrator Instrument zur chiropraktischen Manipulation wird in die Hand gelegt, die die Behandlung verabreicht, mit dem Handgriff in der Handfläche und Zeige- und Mittelfinger um den Kupplungsgriff herum. Das Gerät wird dann durch Ziehen des Kupplungsgriffes in Richtung Handfläche gespannt. Das Instrument ist jetzt betriebsbereit.

4. Während die Mitte des Gerätes zwischen Daumen und Zeigefinger gehalten wird, wird die Spitze des Integrators gegen den Zielbehandlungsbereich gedrückt und das Gerät wird aktiviert.

Hinweis: Der Handflächengriff darf während der Aktivierung des Geräts die Hand des Anwenders nicht berühren, da dies zu einem frühzeitigen Versagen des Instruments führt.

BeschrijvingHet Integra® Miltex® Integrator™ chiropractisch correctie-instrument is een handmatig te gebruiken instrument voor de correctie van het vertebraal subluxatiecomplex. Het Integrator chiropractisch correctie-instrument is ontworpen met een instellingsmogelijkheid voor uitoefening van kracht in meerdere richtingen zodat de chiropractor axiale, axiaal-linkse en axiaal-rechtse torsiekracht kan selecteren, met een tip-trigger voor activering van het instrument.

Indicaties voor gebruikHet Integra Miltex Integrator chiropractisch correctie-instrument dient voor correctie van subluxatie van de hals-, borst-, lenden-, heiligbeen- en staartbeenwervels en voor correcties van het ilium en de ledematen.

Waarschuwingen • Dit instrument mag uitsluitend worden gebruikt door een

gediplomeerd chiropractor die is opgeleid in de Torque Release Technique® en het gebruik en de voor dit instrument geldende veiligheidsregels.

GebruiksaanwijzingDit instrument mag uitsluitend worden gebruikt door een gediplomeerd chiropractor die is opgeleid in de Torque Release Technique® en het gebruik en de voor dit instrument geldende veiligheidsregels. 1. De richting van de uit te oefenen kracht wordt op een van de

drie beschikbare standen ingesteld: axiaal, linksom/axiaal of rechtsom/axiaal. De stand wordt geselecteerd op basis van de beoogde behandeling. De instelling wordt geselecteerd door het behandelingsuiteinde te draaien naar een van de drie arreteerstanden op het behandelingsuiteinde: middelste arreteerstand = axiaal, linker arreteerstand = linksom, rechter arreteerstand = rechtsom.

2. De kracht wordt geregeld door de handpalmgreep op de achterkant van het instrument te draaien: rechtsom om de kracht te vergroten en linksom om de kracht te verkleinen.

3. Het Integrator chiropractisch correctie-instrument wordt in de behandelingshand gehouden met de handpalmgreep in de handpalm, waarbij de wijs- en middelvinger de koppelingsgreep vastpakken. Het instrument wordt vervolgens gespannen door de koppelingsgreep naar de handpalm toe te trekken. Het instrument is nu klaar voor gebruik.

4. Houd het midden van het instrument tussen duim en wijsvinger en druk de tip van de Integrator tegen de behandelingslocatie om het instrument te activeren.

NB De handpalmgreep mag geen contact maken met de hand van de gebruiker wanneer het instrument wordt geactiveerd, omdat het instrument hierdoor voortijdig defect kan raken.

Vóór gebruik kan een proefactivering van de Integrator worden verricht op een gepolsterde behandelingstafel, om te controleren of de instellingen van het instrument misschien verdere aanpassing vereisen voordat het bij de patiënt wordt gebruikt. Proefactivering van het instrument tegen een hard oppervlak of in de lucht wordt afgeraden omdat het interne mechanisme van het instrument hierdoor beschadigd kan raken.

Beleid inzake retournering van productenProducten moeten geretourneerd worden in ongeopende verpakking met de door de fabrikant aangebrachte verzegeling intact om in aanmerking te komen voor vervanging of vergoeding, tenzij ze geretourneerd worden vanwege een klacht of een productdefect. Integra bepaalt naar eigen goeddunken of producten al dan niet defect zijn.

GarantiesVoor garantieaanspraken dienen te repareren instrumenten naar Integra gestuurd te worden. Als deze procedures niet in acht worden genomen, komt de garantie voor het instrument te vervallen en kan het instrument falen. Voor chiropractische instrumenten geldt een beperkte garantie van één jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum.
