color usage

Consistent use of color across our communications helps us build cohesive visual language within our brand and leverages awareness and recognition of the brand identity. The use of color triggers emotional response and enhances the depth of our storytelling.

Official Color Palette (Logomark and Wordmark)The main colors in our official communications–such as letterhead, business card, and official envelope–are limited to PMS 187 red (C15, M100, Y90, K10), black, white, light gray, and dark gray (C62, M54, Y53, K26). Among those main colors, red, black, and white should be the dominant colors. The official wordmark should appear primarily in the three dominant colors while preferred combination is red and black with white background. When you use the official wordmark in darker background, you should use white only or white with a red combination. When you use wordmark in a content focused materials, such as a presentation, you should use light gray or dark gray in order to ensure that contents receive greater attention.

typography

We recommend that you use Roboto font families in all Integrated Innovation Institute communication materials. This font family is chosen to complement the institute logomark and wordmark. Recommended weights for overall headlines are Medium or Bold, while recommended weight for overall body texts are Regular. We encourage you to keep the font size bigger than 7 pt to ensure readability.

In the case where there is a possibility that the font could be automatically converted to something else –e.g. e-mail signature– we recommend that you use Helvetica font families instead of Roboto font families.

The institute’s logomark and wordmark are not to be recreated in a font–it is graphic files only. In the case when you must have to recreated the wordmark, please use Taz bold /all cap /tracking 80.
