Responsibilities
The Superintendent
approves and oversees all
operations of the Technology Plan to make ensure that it is being implemented
effectively on all campuses.
The Curriculum Director will
ensure vertical alignment
throughout the district is being
implemented and also measure
student achievement
through benchmarking and
State Testing.
The Technology Director will maintain service
contracts, evaluate educational
software programs, provide
professional development and technical support
for the district, and organizes ways to communicate with the parents and community via
technology.
The Business Manager
establishes the budget and
disperses the funds to purchase equipment,
software etc.
The Campus Principal monitors the implementation of technology use in the classrooms and computer labs and also monitors
the progress of students through
benchmarking and State Testing. The Principal monitors
the campus website and also makes sure that
the organizational chart is kept in
proper perspective and that the Site Base Committee meets, assesses
and makes changes to the Campus plan
The Site Based Committee Members collaborate between the
teachers and the Principal to
implement and evaluate the
Campus Plan to achieve the highest
level of success.
The Teachers incorporate
technology lessons into the curriculum
that are aligned with the TEKS,
preview and evaluate software,
and administer benchmark testing.
