Integration of MathType/ChemType in Moodle
Step 1. Please click the square root icon to insert Math type in Moodle default editor.
Step 2. Math type editor will be open as shown below.
Note: There are ten tabs on the MathType toolbar. If you hover the mouse pointer over a tab, a symbol, a tooltip will appear, letting you know what's beneath the arrow.
Step 3: we will create this equation:
After opening MathType, type tan. Notice MathType recognizes "tan" as a function name and displays it with non-italic type.
Step 4. Now we need to type the Greek letter theta. Notice the name of the fourth tab from the left:
Step 5: In the middle, find ± and insert that into the equation.
Step 6: Similarly, insert the square root template into the equation.
Step 7: Similarly, we have to insert a superscript template into the equation.
Step 8: Next, we have to insert the denominator template into the equation.
Step 9: Press the down arrow on the keyboard to move into the denominator—type cosθ, using the same techniques as above.
