INTEGRITY PLEDGE 27/10/2020-02/11/2020
As per circular no.SDO/2020-21/091, dated 24/10/2020, under the concept of “Satark Bharat
Samriddh Bharat” celebrated“Vigilance Awareness Week”. In this event, our college has
decided to take an Integrity Pledge. In this event 638 staff and students participated. As per
the SPPU notice, SWO of our Institute organised Vigilance Awareness week from
27/10/2020 to 02/11/2020,

VACHAN PRERANA DIN 15/10/2020
As per circular no. SDO/2020-21/86, dated 06/10/2020, on the occasion of Bharat Ratna Dr.
A. P. J. Abdul Kalam birth anniversary, our college celebrated “VACHAN PRERANA DIN”
by reading “AGNIPANKH” in memory of Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. The staff members and
students read Autobiography of Dr. Kalam “Agnipankh” which is provided in softcopy to
students, and students submitted feedback to GFM. As per the SPPU notice, our Institute
organised VACHAN PRERANA DIN on 15/10/2020 and 367 staff and students participated
in this event.

SADBHAVANA DAY 20/08/2020
All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Information Technology organized
Sadbhavana Day on 20/08/2020. Student Welfare Organization (SWO) and NSS of our
institute conducted this program. More than 270 students and 6 staff participated in this
program. GFM of every class took pledge with students in the online classes regarding
sadbhavana day to resolve all differences among all through dialogue and constitutional
means without resorting to violence. Principal Dr.P.B.Mane motivated and guided this
activity and the event was coordinated by Mr.S.R.Kokane and Mr.S.S.Gadadhe.

webinar organised by BSD SPPU on 8August 2020 from 10:30 to 12:30pm. For this webinar
the distinguished speaker Mr. Devanand Londhe was present and guided students how you
can be an Entrepreneur, for this webinar link given below was used by students to join this
webinar, our Institute students participated in this webinar. Objective of webinar was to
‘Make Entrepreneur’ and Outcome was students understood how to become entrepreneur and
chances of entrepreneurship after corona

GENDER EQUALITY WEBINAR 06/07/2020
All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Information Technology organised
Webinar on Gender Bias & Stereotyping, Gender Equality and Women’s Rights for Students
and Faculty on 06/07/2020 as per letter no.F.No.11-6/2020(GS) dated 25/06/2020 from UGC.
For this webinar, the distinguished speaker was Mrs Alka Joshi. Objective of the webinar was
to Spread Gender Equality in Students. Alka Joshi Madam is the Convenor of Lokayat, she
delivered a talk on gender equality, explained how to behave by students in the world of
social media. Outcome of the program: Students understood about gender equality and
behave accordingly, Student will able to spread awareness regarding gender equality in the
society. 53 students and faculties participated in this webinar.

TEACHERS DAY 04/09/2020
We celebrate Teachers Day every year throughout the country on 5th September. Students
express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan- second President of India. The great academic philosopher and
one of the most well-known diplomats, scholar, president of India and above all a teacher. As
a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teachers' day. As mark of
respect to the Teaching Community, our Institute organizes Teachers Day every year. The
program includes felicitation of teachers for their various contributions as well as for their
achievement during last academic year, but due to current COVID 19 Pandemic situation in
Pune our Institute organized Teachers Day online as per Government Guidelines and circular
no. SDO/2020-21/68 dated 04/09/2020.
To celebrate teachers Day, our institute has organized motivational Talk by Honourable
Padma Shri Dr. S. G. Dhande Former Director IIT Kanpur. Dr. S. G. Dhande given
inspirational talk on the topic ‘Teaching learning pedagogies in Engineering, in his talk he
covered role of learners and role of Teachers. Also, he highlighted the points like creative
learning; learn by doing it, effective teaching, personal education and Assessment
Techniques-wing structure of teaching community and learner ethics etc. The program was
started with prayer of Sarsawati Vandana, followed by welcome speech given by beloved
Principal Dr. P. B. Mane. On this Occasion Students from Computer Department and
Electronic and Telecommunication expressed their view towards teachers and Institute. Vote
of Thanks given by the Head of Department, Engineering Sciences Department Dr. P. G.
Musrif. The whole session coordinated by Mr. A. J. More with technical team Mr. A. A.

Kore and Mr. A. H. Raheja. The function was conducted online via CISCO webex and
Youtube Live. Total 130 Teachers were present for this function.

CONSTITUTION DAY 26/11/2020
As per circular no.D.O.14-22/2015(CPP-II), dated 19/11/2020, on the occasion of
“CONSTITUTION DAY”, our Institute celebrated CONSTITUTION DAY by reading
Indian Constitution Preamble. An Important part of the celebration is the reading of the
preamble of the constitution. This year, Honourable Prime Minister lead to reading of the
Preamble at 11 AM on 26th November during the conference of the All India Presiding
Officers at Gujrat. Staff members and students also joined Honourable Prime Minister from
their respective offices/Locations. As per this notice 50 staff members joined to read
preamble and all students read this (in online mode) in the lectures.

NATIONAL YOUTH DAY: 12/01/2021
All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Information Technology organized
National Youth Day on 12/01/2021. Student Welfare Organization (SWO) and NSS of
our college conducted this program jointly. More than 50 staff members were present for this
program. Principal Dr.P.B.Mane motivated and guided this activity and the event was
coordinated by Mr.S.S.Gadadhe and Mr.S.R.Kokane.

All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Information Technology organized
Netaji Subhashchandra Bose Jayanti Celebration on 23/01/2021. Student Welfare
Organization (SWO) and NSS of
our institute jointly conducted this program. More than 50 staff members were present for
this program. Principal Dr.P.B.Mane motivated and guided to this activity and coordinated by
Mr.S.S.Gadadhe and Mr. S.R Kokane.

ROAD SAFETY PROGRAM: 17/02/2021
All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Information Technology organized
Road Safety Program on 17/02/2021. Under Student Welfare Organization of our college
conducted this program. More than 100 students and 10 staff participated in this program.
Deputy RTO Mr.Sanjay Sasane, IMV Mr. Vijay Sawant, AIMV Mrs. Suvarna Kingre,
Mrs.Bhagyashri Patil and Mrs.Komal Gadekar guided to all regarding How to follow all
traffic rules and regulation. All faculty and Students (Online+Offline) took pledge regarding
Road Safety awareness program. Principal Dr.P.B.Mane motivated and guided to this activity
and coordinated by SWO Mr.S.S.Gadadhe, Prof.S.V.Arlikar and HOD Dr.P.G.Musrif.

SHIVJAYANTI CELEBRATION: 19/02/2021
All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Information Technology organized
Shivjayanti Celebration on 19/02/2021. Student Welfare Organization (SWO) and NSS of
our college conducted this program jointly. More than 20 students and 50 staff members
participated in this program. Online Quiz was conducted on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji
Maharaj, in this quiz prizes were won by Dr.D.K.Shedge, Dr.S.B.Dhonde, Ms.Punashri Patil
and 05 students. Principal Dr.P.B.Mane motivated and guided this activity and it was
coordinated by SWO incharge Mr.S.S.Gadadhe.

“AZADI KA AMRUTMAHOSTAV”: 25/03/2021
All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Information Technology organized
Azadi Ka Amrutmahostav on 25/03/2021. Student Welfare Organization (SWO) and NSS of
our college conducted this program jointly as per guideline of SPPU. More than 30 students
participated in this program. Essay Writing Competition was conducted on the subject
AZADI KA AMRUTMAHOSTAV. In this Competition 5 students won prizes. Principal
Dr.P.B.Mane motivated and guided this activity and the event was coordinated by SWO in
charge Mr.S.S.Gadadhe

“CATCH THE RAIN”: 16/04/2021
All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Information Technology organized
‘Catch the Rain’ on 16/04/2021. Student Welfare Organization (SWO) and NSS of
our college conducted this program as per guideline of SPPU. 308 students and 6 Teachers
participated in this program. A Guest lecture was organised for the students. Speaker for this
program were Dr. Sandeep Mali and Prof Nameeta Sane. They guided and motivated students
on the topic ‘catch the rain’. Principal Dr.P.B.Mane motivated and guided this activity and
the event was coordinated by SWO in charge- Mr.S.S.Gadadhe, and Mr. Amit Raheja and
Ms. Anjali Diwalkar.
