Sign Up for an Online AccountThen, you have to sign up with Ingram Micro Malaysia as our Online Reseller .
Download the Web ID Application Form, send the completed application form with relevant documents to Ingram Micro Malaysia by fax to the Sales Depart-ment above .
If you are an existing Ingram Micro Reseller, you can e-mail the application form to webfeedback .my@ingrammicro-asia .com .
You will receive your Username and Password within 72 working hours from [email protected] with valid form submission .
The user for this account will be the Account Administrator .
As an account administrator, you can create and maintain accounts for your staff and subordinate .

The system will not allow you to: Use anypart of your username in your password Use password that was used before (5 historical passwords); and Change your password more than once in 24 hours
You will receive an error message that “the password does not meet the re-quirements” if the above conditions are met . Type the new password again to confirm.
You may contact the site administrator to help you Reset the password .
For subordinate, your new password must have minimum 6 characters, and meet the criterias above . Your password must be changed every 365 days .
For enquiry type users, your password will never expire .
Select your Challenge Question .Challenge question is used for Password recovery purpose in case you forgot your password in the future .
Press button OK to proceed .
Next, you can select your Personalization for notification, dashboard or quote personalization . You can skip this step and return later .

What to do when you Forgot Password?
Open your favourite browsers . Surf to site http://my .ingrammicro .comPress link Forgot Password? under the Username .You will be taken to the Forgot Password page .
Enter your User Name and press the button OK .
Next, answer the challenge ques-tion and press button Get my password .
Then, check your mailbox for mail from [email protected] .
Return to Ingram Micro site and proceed to login with the new User Name and Password .

Keyword SearchIf you know what you are looking for, you can do a quick search using keyword, VPN or IM SKU number .
Keyword is a word or several words used to identify particular items .
VPN is Vendor Part Number, an agreed item identification code used between Ingram Micro and Vendors . Vendors might use the same VPN numbers as gen-eral item identifications for other distributors.
SKU, Stock Keeping Unit is used between Ingram Micro and you, to identify a particular product .
You can use both VPN and SKU when communicating with Ingram Micro .
Quick SearchFirst, enter they Search Information . Example, the keyword “UPS” .
Suggested keywords with “UPS” will be populated on the Search Column .
Click the Magnifying Glass or Press Enter on Keyboard to search .

How to Place Order?
Go to the item you want to purchase . You can search by keyword, browse by Product Type or Vendor . Example, you are looking for Zebra Label Printer .You can search by keyword - “label printer”, search by product Categories/Sub-Categories - “Printers” or Vendor - “Zebra” .

Enter the quantity . Default quantity is 1 .Press Add to Basket button . Items that are already placed into current basket will have a Green Tick Icon beside the red Add to Basket button .
To check your basket, press My Basket .To Review and Submit Order, press Checkout .
Each time changes are made to the Basket(edit quantity, delete, add materials), press button Update Total . You can make changes to the basket anytime before submit order . Prices may change according to realtime price before submit or-der, a price change notice will be posted on the screen .
Some products such as server, licenses and network requires End User Informa-tion during order . This information can be entered at My Basket or Checkout level, Line Information > Info Required . Take a look at Section 2-9 End Customer List .
Basket SecurityYou can specify the security of the basket to be:a . Private - only you can see/use this basketb . Public - other peers can see the basket and copy to their own, but cannot modify the basketc . Shared - other can make changes and delete the basket

How to Checkout Order?Once you click button Checkout, you will be directed to page Review and Sub-mit Order .
You are required to fill up mandatory information such as Payment Option and Delivery information . Mandatory informations are marked with red asterisks (*) .
Payment OptionsPayment Currency and Payment Type is preset in the system . You must enter the Reseller PO Number . This number will be printed on the Order document .
You can insert the End Customer PO Number, it is an optional field. This number will be printed on the Shipment Documents .
Delivery OptionsIngram Micro can delivers order by next working day after the order is approved or you can self collect your goods from our warehouse .
You can select to ship only when orders are complete or partial delivery of available items .
If you have any remarks on Delivery, you must write it down on column Deliv-ery Notes . The note will appear on your packing slip .

E-mail NotificationThe default e-mail notifications are sent according to the e-mail set in the no-tification preferences, usually the default e-mail is the account administrator. You can set an alternative e-mail address here .
Basket NotesYou can write reminders in Basket Notes for your own reference .Basket Notes are recorded at basket level .Do not use it to record message to Ingram Micro or delivery service .
Review Order
You can add new products, delete existing products and amend products quantity and price . Make sure you press button Update Total after you are satisfied with the chang-es . Update Total will calculate the new shipping fees, order subtotal, GST if any and the Grand Total .
To add new product, just go back to the product page to select your product . You can also add products from Favourite Product list .
To delete product, press the button Delete .
How to Submit Order?Once you are satisfied with your order, click button submit order. Once orders are successfully placed, you will be directed to the summary page .
Once we receive your orders, we will process it accordingly . If you require any informations, or want to check your order status, please call our sales repre-sentative .

Do you know that you can create quote for your customer?You can create quote from a shopping basket, direct entry SKU/VPN and Qty or import from a spreadsheet .

The Selling Price for End Customer is RM 1,934 .90
For end customer price, you can select Margin or Markup, by amount or by per-centage calculation .
You can set the calculation by item, meaning each item can have different price calculation .
You can also set same markup/margin calculation for the entire quote .
Click Update Totals once you have added all SKU and you will see a summary of Total Costs . Add Shipping and Discounts if any .
Click Save and Preview at bottom of page .
At Preview Quote, click Send Quote .Quotation will be sent to End Customer’s E-Mail .You can choose to send a copy of Quotation to yourself at My Account > My Profile > Notifications Preferences.

How to Personalise Quote?You can Personalise your quote using your company logo, tagline, header, footer and Terms & Conditions at My Account > My Profile > Quote Personaliza-tion Preferences .Only Administrator can access Quote Personalization .
End Customer can be accessed from My Basket’s selected Line item or during Quote creation .
At My Basket line item, once customer is entered, the status will change from Info Required to Info Entered .
Search End Customer ListIf you were already our previous website IMOnline, you might have created some end customers into the system . Record from previous database is import-ed into the new system . To view these customers, go to Search End Customer list . You can Edit, Delete or Select it for use in Quote or Line Item .
Select from Address BookYou can also perform a search on End Customer . You can search by Company Name or Contact Name .

Order SearchYou can perform order search by: Number - Reseller PO Number - IM Order Number - End Customer PO Number - VPN - Vendor
Order Creation Date range (e .g . Start and End Date) Order status (All Orders, On Hold, Open, Back Order, Processed)
On Hold - once order is successfully submitted Processed - when salesperson acted to release the order Back Order - when materials are not available Open - all open orders : on hold, processing and back order Cancelled - cancelled orders
However, sometimes, orders will be shown as on hold even though the cus-tomers has confirmed to purchase. In this instance, it is advisable to call the sales for clarification. Example is like materials which is ordered under special circumstances .

Do you know that you can create and authorise users to login Ingram Micro website? Creation of new users and maintenance of users is managed through your company’s administrator and not through Ingram Micro .
Administrator AccountFor every online registration with Ingram Micro, an account with administrator access will be created .
Users with administrator rights will be able to place orders on-line and access confidential information regarding the com-pany’s statement of account with Ingram Micro, order history, view vendor price list and other tasks .
It is therefore important that you appoint a trusted Administrator in your com-pany to manage and maintain user’s application, usage, access level and secu-rity of the password .
How to Create New UsersLogin with Administrator access .Go to My Account .
On the My Account Page, click button User Administration .
Click button Add a New User .
Fill in the Contact Information .Option, you can use the E-mail ad-dress as the username . However, the username must be unique . Same usernames are not allowed .
Next, under section Privileges, select the desired access rights that you would like the user to have .You can use the Quick Selection buttons as shortcut to common priv-iledge combinations . All users will en-joy basic features such as save search-es and favourite product lists .
Click button Create User and the new user account will be created .
A notification e-mail will be generated to the new user.
