Onboard Traffic Visibility and Storage

With INTELLASTORE II network engineers select traffic to stream or capture for diagnostics, including event triggers such as data ports, address, protocol, time period, bandwidth thresholds, and file size. Fast onboard storage is included for traffic analysis software and data files, and also supports PCAP file export for external analysis.

Enhanced Traffic Monitoring Tool Server

INTELLASTORE II includes a high performance dedicated server for customer-installed third-party applications, enabling multiple analysis tools such as security, performance, latency, and application diagnostics on a single platform. The server is either pre-loaded with a Linux KVM environment and Wireshark for immediate deployment, or can be customer installed with VMware, Xen, Hyper-V or Windows.

Faster Issue Resolution

With complete network visibility, engineers can identify and resolve issues faster. Supporting multiple onboard diagnostics tools, engineers can load software analysis applications such as network packet analyzer, network security, latency measurement, and application specific tools. With the right tools in place, engineers can remotely diagnose issues with immediate data, saving valuable time compared to scheduling an onsite tool cart connection and waiting for data.

High Speed Packet Monitoring

The included 12 ports of 1G or 10G Ethernet and 2 ports of 40G Ethernet are wire speed for high speed data network monitoring. All ports include standard aggregation, filtering and any-to-any packet control. The 1G/10G ports also feature APCON’s advanced Multi Function deduplication, load balancing, encapsulation stripping, time stamping, and payload slicing.

Visibility at Every Layer

With APCON’s packet aggregation switching technology, network managers can share monitoring and diagnostic tool resources across multiple locations, while preventing oversubscription and data loss. Data from multiple sources is aggregated, filtered and optimized for packet visibility and forensic tools, engineers can configure proactive alerts, capture data and analyze using real-time diagnostics.

Optimize Analysis Tool Performance

INTELLASTORE II includes advanced Multi Function features that optimize tool performance. Remove duplicate packets saving as much as 55% of total traffic, doubling analysis tool capacity. Further increase tool performance and ensure consumer information privacy compliance such as HIPAA, by removing packet payload (packet slicing). Time stamp incoming packets enabling latency measurement tools to monitor transaction performance and facilitate analysis of traffic delays.
