The gateway connects your system to the world. It communicates with local weather stations to predict how much solar power you’ll produce, and learns your energy needs.

4. The battery

The battery stores power from the solar panels and the grid. It’s designed to cycle every day, reducing your home’s power consumption during peak times.

5. The app

With the app you can see what your system is doing in real time and keep track of how much money you’re saving. So you can check battery levels and system diagnostics remotely, find out how the weather will affect your solar production and see what action the system will take to save you money.

Intelligent

The Evergen Intelligent Energy System is run with next-generation energy intelligence developed by CSIRO.

Every few minutes the system learns and predicts your energy consumption patterns and uses weather forecasts to anticipate your solar production for the next 48 hours. It then uses sophisticated energy analytics to determine the optimum supply of solar, battery and grid for your home to save you the maximum amount of money.

The system then manages the charging and discharging behavior of your battery to minimise wear and extend its useful life – a process which draws from CSIRO’s 20 years of battery research.

Integrated

The Evergen Intelligent Energy System includes all the components you need in a single integrated unit. This means that, as well as housing your battery, the unit contains components like an inverter, gateway device and battery management system, which you would often otherwise need to buy separately from different manufacturers. The unit has undergone substantial integration and testing to ensure that both the hardware and software work together seamlessly. Having an integrated unit also results in a neater configuration with simpler and more cost-effective installation.

Managed

A battery is just a part of the system

But on it's own, a battery doesn't actually do anything. You may need several other pieces of equipment such as an inverter, gateway device and solar panels to try and match the functionality of Evergen's Intelligent Energy System.
