Is an IMpb or other tracking label necessary on every

package?

Answer: Yes

Can we continue to get “discounted rates” for parcels using

a postage meter (i.e. DM300 or Connect+)?

Answer: No

If we use a postage meter with Certified Mail for letters –

can we continue to use our current label stock?

Answer: Yes. The USPS will continue to accept and

process Certified Mail using the label format.

Can we use current label stock for e-Certified for

packages?

Answer: Yes, USPS will accept/process Certified Mail labels

provided by Pitney Bowes. However, the charge is the full

Retail Rate. With pbSmartPostage™ or SendSuite Live™ you

can get discounted rates (CBP).

Will Connect+ have a shipping app to support IM® package

barcode processes?

Answer: All new Connect+ transactions will include

pbSmartPostage at no charge.

Can we use pbSmartPostage in combination with a postage

meter scale - and print postage from the meter?

Answer: No. These two systems work independently –

so you will need a separate desktop or thermal printer for

the IMpb labels
